He`s not against immigration, just illegal immigration. Also, anyone who fails to see the link between socialism and communism must not be familiar with history. Read a little on Karl Marx and how Russia fared shortly thereafter. Better yet, ask someone who immigrated from a communist nation like China what they think of socialist ideals being preached in America. I`ll save you the time; my best friend`s mother came from China, and it scares her to see the road America is headed down. In her words:

"I left China to get away from this stuff..."

This guy is full of crap. He alternates between false assumptions (no country/empire was founded on multiculturalism- what about the Ottoman empire?) and cheap campaign posturing. The worst thing that the US could do would be to pretend the rest of the world does not exist and that it could not affect us. His world is only black and white, without room for any grey areas. He should open a history book sometime, I bet he would be suprised at what he finds.

1) -Yet they have so much in common.

-such as?

Both groups kill in the name of faith.
Both groups single out certain creeds.
Both groups use terror as a means of control.
Both groups preach supremacy.
Need I go on?

2) -But English is completely different that say, Spanish.

- You`d only be holding yourself back if you refuse to learn another language.

Then why can`t they learn English?
3) -What about all the neighborhoods that are still empty and abandoned?

-Why would someone go back to an area that`s prone to extreme flooding? The why salvage New Orleans at all?

4) -Since when is socialism a good thing? We fought wars to defeat it and its brother communism.
Still I don`t see the link.

razlem you are an idiot.

He has a point by saying 84% of Americans want English as a national language, and somehow it still isn`t.

Learn to speak Cherokee, or learn to speak Spanish, or learn to speak Chinese.

The language of the natives.
The language of the immigrants (and the soon to be majority).
The most popular language.

Why English?

we need to join the movement. i`ve started a revolutionary group at my school and we call and write letters to the reps in congress and try to get others to join, but what good will it do when there is a large group who graduate every year and can`t speak english?

if we keep this up, america will be minorities only in 30 years or so, then the country will fall into chaos, and who will help? the countries that we push ourselves farther and farther into debt to save? no, we need to help ourselves, NOW

...givng back to those who need it is communism.
Im sure that people in USA (who are always ready to help when there is a crysis)could have a similar sostem without turning in to Soviet Union. But, that would sure destroy power positions of some political families who builds their power on fear.
Fear of communism, Alqaida, Mexicans ...You name it.

This is how Nazis started out.
He uses clever phrases and verbs in his speach. He calls Mexican immigrants for "Invaders". Well, then all of Anglosaxon dominant immigrants are true invaders and English is seen as "national" language cos its their own not beacuse its "common sense".

Immigration continues today. Tough luck for descendants of white-english speaking invaders. New national language may as well be Spanish or Chinese. Rule of majority.

About Socialism. Hmmm. Well if one has been brainwashed with fear of selfdestructive Stalin-Communism I guess that all human compasion and solidarity (outside of sunday church dogma)are equal to greatest evil in the world.

I live in modern, strong and free country with strong solidarity among its people. Noone has to sleep on the streets or to drop out of school. Yet we do fear communism. I guess that we just understand the difference. My leaders didnt brainwash me in to believing that giving back to tho

elkingo...do u live in new orleans? or did you when katrina hit? bcause those people didn`t get nearly enough aid...no matter what crap you say...

we have to save the original america...oh wait...the original america belonged to the american indians...i`m pretty sure he wants illegals out of america...but what american culture is he talking about

i do believe english should be the national language...if i move to spain...i`m damn sure ganna learn spanish

government medical care is crap because it costs alot...when people don`t pay for their medical coverage, then a big bill will pile up...and the government can`t truly afford it

but nationalism is wrong...it leads to retards in the white house and pitbulls in lipstick...

Socialism is for the weak-willed and the bums. I`m not going to "share the wealth" with a bunch of lazy potheads who say that they DESERVE to have some of MY hard-earned pie. Get your own slice of it, even better, make your own freaking pie. America was founded to be a free place where the success of the individual is not restricted, socialism is the exact opposite of that.

1) This guy needs to use his common sense. You can`t compare Islam to the KKK- they are totally different.

-Yet they have so much in common.

2) This video totally hypocritical. English is a mix of many different languages- it didn`t just pop into our heads. Example- "bureaucracy" (sp?) is a French-based word.

-But English is completely different that say, Spanish.

3) This guy didn`t actaully live through Katrina like I did. We did recieve help, and plenty of it.

-What about all the neighborhoods that are still empty and abandoned?

4) We`re actually heading towards socialism (which really isn`t that bad) because the goverment is stepping into the economic system.

-Since when is socialism a good thing? We fought wars to defeat it and its brother communism.

I have studied about the Canadian health care system, and I know many Canadians that have came here, regardless of paying for specialist surgeries.
You can talk about the Canadian wonderful health care system all you want, but its fact that many Canadians come to America if they need something serious done. The fact is through government bureaucrats you don`t get specialized surgeons.

The only part of his argument that I agree with is the economic argument. The federal debt is $9.4 trillion about $28,000 each. Anwarnova said $53 trillion is actually the total debts by all Americans. Including money owed on our homes, cars and credit cards. Roughtly $160,000 each. Now remeber we are spending $12Billion a MONTH in Iraq or $430 each per year (about as much as you would save switching to Geico). Now remember that most of that debt is money borrowed form china and the middle east. Eventually they will want their money back. Are you prepared to fork that over when they ask? I doubt it. So now how do we fix this problem? First we can`t keep giving $300 billion a year in reduced taxes to the weathiest people. The tax cuts alone have doubled out nation deficit. Second we can`t keep spending more on our military then EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD COMBINED! Let`s start to fix ourselves and our country for a change.

Historically, multicultural countries and civilizations tend to be more turbulent, yes.

But turning America into a uniculturalistic country is a horribly bad idea. While America probably would have fared better off with having a group of people with the same ideas, ideologies, languages, traditions, religions, etc, that`s not what we have. We have a plethora of kinds of people. If I were to move to another country because the conditions are immensely more humane than my previous one, I wouldn`t be about to give up my culture. Of course I would obey the laws of my new country and give it respect and loyalty, but in the world today where people mix much more often, they still feel connected to what they once were (or even what their family once was).

You simply can`t turn America into a one culture country without a genocide or something.

Oh, and sheeshboy, I assume that was a sarcastic comment. My view: we are currently a tossed salad, not a melting pot. We like to be in the same bowl, but completely separate. A true melting pot is one in which everyone melds together to create ONE culture: Americans.

This video is like a breath of fresh air. He realizes that our country is being taken over by lunatics and their sick religion of political correctness. Racist? He is simply stating that unity creates strength. Regular Americans...not a Mexican, African, Asian, etc. I thought the water into the glass of wine was a very simple, yet powerful message. Dilution creates nothing more than a weaker version of the original. English should be our national language. Someone mentioned isolationist...Maybe a smidge of isolationism would not be a bad thing right now? If we are such a terrible country, filled with terrible people, let`s pull our technology, aid workers, financial assistance, medical care and military out of the rest of the world for 2 or 3 years, and see what happens. This gentleman speaks a great deal of truth, if you are smart enough to hear the message. Both parties are indeed responsible for this mess, but so are we for not cleaning house when needed.

Seriously though, what makes the US so strong is its many cultures. That`s where we get out innovations and new ideas. Mind you, I am staunchly against illegal immigration, but I feel that anybody with a PHD and wants to research should be let into our country, that way we get the best people.

I don`t think he was saying be intolerant of other races in the literal sense, but in the sense that they should be American over "whatever"-American. Regardless of race, creed, or religion we are all American. He didn`t mention Christianity either, he simply stated something that is obvious. This country believes in God. There are Atheist, but that has nothing to do with the 85% that believe there is a creator. He didn`t say to force Christianity on anyone, what he did say was that in the public acknowledge God.

I have to admit, I found myself swayed. Mostly on the topic of making english the official language and eschewing the spanish language in our culture.

They have no incentive to learn our language; a very good point.

And I would somewhat agree that we need to stop taking care of the world when we ourselves need help. I wouldn`t mind a little more isolationism. Let the EU take care of the world or something(and keep Russia at bay).

Though I disagree on his lack of cultural tolerance. That could lead to more hate and racism.

And I am leery about his take on religion. I`ll be damned if I let the US force Christianity on its people.

The guy has good intentions. But is unfortunately deluded, as are many people. People really think that the two parties, which have created so many problems over the past 100+ years of leadership, will suddenly start fixing their mistakes.

No. When two powerful ruling groups show that they are incapable of accurately representing the people, and incapable of getting the things that need to get done-done...they must be removed from power.
