@jeffhatesyou: i like how in ur video he`s dancing with the dike and he`s pro baby murder as i like to call it. rape or incest should still be adopted idc what your situation is you can still give up your baby to a loving family. abortion causes breast cancer as well, if ur body is preparing to have a baby and you kill it all your milk producing cells that you spent all those months making now have nothing to do. after a while there is a good chance they will become cancerous because cancer is nothing more than a mutation in the cells. how can u be catholic if ur FOR THE MURDER OF INNOCENT INFANTS?

Both sides? Obama s a pretty religious dude. Democrats do not equal hippy, earth loving politics, it`s just a softer version of the republicans.

oh, come on. i have him added on myspace and that`s just something he does. he has students for obama, hispanics for obama and so on and so forth. it`s not like he`s some crazy super religious dude or he thinks he`s jesus reborn or anything.
obama rocks my freaking socks!

"Your opinion and who you want to win means nothing!"

Guess what, putz: yours ultimately doesn`t, either! Never heard of the electoral college? Your vote isn`t guaranteed to determine who gets into office.

Shufdog, that was an ignorant thing to say. Their opinion matters because they can give it. They could still campaign or talk to people they know to help them figure out who they are voting for.

If each person who cannot vote, that wants to, can get one person who normally wouldn`t vote to do so, that is making a huge difference.

I think it`s funny how all of these teenagers (13-17) and Euro-pee-ons are trying to be all political. Guess what. Your opinion and who you want to win means nothing! You can`t vote. So go grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy the show.

Qualified to lead? Says who? Exactly what `qualifications` does someone require to be a good leader?

I can picture a lot of republicans for Paul.

"... [poor people from the south are] bitter Americans, clinging to their guns and religion." -Obama on a mic he thought was off

I`m pretty sure he shouldn`t try to play the religion card with quotes like that. Just saying.

Wouldn`t it be funny if Ron Paul somehow magically got voted in?

I think all the political analysts/political pundits/whatever would fall off their chairs and die. Plus a whole lot of angry Republicans and Democrats would stop dead in their tracks.

It`s a little bit of a shame then that it won`t ever happen...

opiebreath, I`m glad you see it that way, seems like you`re the only one.

There are bumper stickers that say Democrats for McCain, and Obama has always had up different groups "___ for Obama" go look on his website.

All different groups of people can like either candidate. This is a stupid link anyway, there were much better things up on the CNN political ticket.

Wasnt that the time that GB was the dominant nation? Im just saying..."

Exactly my point, Prime. Every nation has to go through a kind of adolesence, where religion is a key role and seems important. It`s like tattoos and weed, it seems great at the time, and then after you(r nation) grows up a bit, you realise it was all a wee bit silly in retrospect.

Prime my dear, I own furniture older than your country.

Obama for Islam. Obama for Catholics. Obama for "insert religion here."

Whatever. Its an obvious ploy to try to simply.. get more votes. pro-Obama or not, I think thats what it boils down to.

The two main parties have been in power so long that they no longer care about making the country a better place, they are only concerned about staying in power. And the people realize this, so every few years we`ll give the other party a chance to be in power for a while. The parties are so ingrained into our culture that we`ve come to accept that one or the other will always be leading us. So, essentially, it`s pointless.

Ron Paul `08

============

DITTO! You don`t see Ron Paul or any of the Libertarians slinging mud everywhere. They`re making their point and letting everyone see where they stand. The republicrats method of getting votes is to point out why you shouldn`t vote for the other guy rather than trying to point out why you should vote for them.

But, the sheep buy it, so if it sells, might as well keep making it.

Two of my buddies are American, one`s a hard-core republican and is voting McCain, the other is a liberal democrat and is voting Obama, although they`re the best of friends.

They`ve decided that come voting day, there`s really no point as they`ll just cancel each other out, so they`re saying f*ck it and staying at home to have a spliff instead. "

This Democrat I know did that last year. He made the same deal with about ten Republicans then went and voted anyway.

vv "Religion has nothing to do with polotics"

trippy, which rock are you currently residing under? Religion is the most significant cornerstone of (at least, American) politics! How the f*ck else would a dyslexic moronic chimp like George Wanker Bush get 8 years in the Whitehouse if he weren`t a professed born-again christian? I`d like to know what percentage of the population voted for him for that alone without any thought of his credentials?

Likewise, imagine if Obama`s name was John Smith, or for that matter anything that didn`t sound vaguely "muslim"? The presidency would be a cakewalk...

In America, religion IS politics...

I am going to vote for Obama, but this is wrong. Religion has nothing to do with polotics and shouldn`t be a part of anyone`s platform. If you are going to do your job right, you are going to make decisions without taking religious beliefs into account.
