I started watching this and my fiance was sitting across the room and only heard the music and said, "Is that the clip about crayon making from sesame street?" He`s freakin` sick, I swear! I don`t know how he can remember stuff like that, but not what I told him two hours ago about my day... UGH!

Doubtful. It looks as if it came from the 70`s at the latest....And if you`re born in the 90`s, as your I-A-B age group says you are....I doubt you saw it "when it first showed on tv". You probab...definitely caught a re-run.

Actually, the process is still very similar, turn on the Discovery Channel some day and look for "How It`s Made", don`t know if it runs in the U.S, there`s a show about crayons and a lot of it is similar.

Aw snap. I remember seeing this when I was a little kid. On Mr. Rodgers or Sesame Street or something. I bet it involved a lot less human interaction with the machines now a days. Probably just one guy, sitting there idly watching the crayons go by, looking for broken ones the computer MIGHT have missed. He sleeps all day, actually. But he`s just been with the company so damn long, they don`t have the heart to fire him.
