yaimhere: For people who claim not to "get it", total eclipses are extremely rare.

haemorrhoids that look like pomegranates are also rare. But they do not excite me.

For people who claim not to "get it", total eclipses are extremely rare. The only reason we have them is because of a precise set of circumstances. In the past the moon was too close to produce the dramatic effect it has today and in the future the moon will be too far away for it to happen. The moon`s appearance is the same size as the appearance of the sun in the sky, so even if there are thousands of other planets out there, very very few of them will have eclipses like ours. So yeah it is a pretty impressive phenomena when you think of all the things that need to be happening in order to make it happen. Not to mention its both beautiful and mind blowing.

For anyone disappointed that they missed it - it was only visible from northern Canada through Greenland and Siberia to central Asia. Unless you were in one of those places, you didn`t miss much.

Seconds later, the guy in the back seat chopped off the head of the guy holding the video camera and began to eat it while shouting,"Wow, look at that cranium." Canada travel is not safe via bus nor plane anymore.

What dumbasses, who looks at an eclipse without proper eye protection which i do not think they have and then he goes something like "im gonna have a look though the binoculars"

YOU DON`T` BLOODY LOOK AT THE SUN ESPECIALLY WITH BINOCULARS.

i heard its safe to veiw the eclips if its a total solar eclipse cause then the sun will have less UV light to harm your eyes, just its not safe when the eclipse is Annular then you have to have special sun disk or glasses to veiw it to see the eclipse, but i still think its wise to have some protection for your eyes to prevent UV lights to harm your eyes,

WOW, would you like to punch that bloke straight in the face or what? Hate those over excitable tw*ts. Who in their right mind shouts out " whooa! look at that corona!"? (unless you`re ordering a beer of course).

In conclusion; Nice pictures taken by a complete knob.
