^ i agree, Broadway. we had tackle tag and dodgeball and skidding out our bigwheels in the gravel driveway.

if a dodgeball hit you in the face, you walked around with that "ping" in your ear for a week. if your dad banged your head too hard on the ceiling, you faked a headache and get ice cream.

Danger gets your heart thumping, blood pumpin, adrenaline racing, in other words: you feel alive! i dont understand the people nowadays who wana take that away from kids.

all you people who are making a fuss. It`s your fault playgrounds aren`t fun anymore.

seriously, the only part that I questioned was when they flipped the little girl `abby` upside down and threw her from her legs. And even then you could hear her mother in the background objecting.

children aren`t made of glass. When you try to protect them from everything, they can`t get the experience of being kids

Are you people just plan stupid?

This is plain as day, bad parenting.

You`re all the reason why people are so drated up now a days because you think its ok and think its fun.

What`re you going to do next? Throw`em in the air and lett`em drop for the lulz?

You people make me sick.

happy days for the kids. One of the best things about being a kid is that your dad or uncles can throw you about like a rag doll, you`ll never experience forces like it again unless you become an astronaut. Possibly dangerous but so is riding a bike and such, if you`ll spin a kid around by his or her hands this is no different but more fun because you don`t get dizzy!

I had a friend who used to do that to his kitten. You can imagine how that usually ended.

why is this bad parenting? my dad and uncles used to do this with us kids in a big circle. the game was over when one of us puked. My mom and aunts had poo fits every damn time but for us kids, its great memories. * ahhhh * innocent childhood.

that looks like a father and uncle. men are supposed to do stupid, quasi-dangerous stuff with their boys!

my dad didnt have sons, so my sister and i had the pleasure of being flung head first into the ceiling with my mother screaming, "don`t do that to the girls!" and us screaming, "again! again!"

^^ if that is to me, then yes, we do worry about our kids.

if its to the video, those weren`t dads, they were either neighbors or uncles, most dads would be more conscientious. Although, looking at the age of the guys in question, they might be dads and in which case had the kids when they were just 18 and we all know how good 18 year olds make as parents...

My dad used to toss me up in the air when I was a toddler, so I don`t really think this is bad parenting...that and the kids seemed to have fun

there is nothing wrong with "tossing" a child up in the air, and someone else catching them, BUT you need to have COMPLETE control of the situation. I toss my daughter all the time, onto beds and couches or to my brothers, but I always make sure she will be safe. It usually involves my hands being around her but not touching her.

and what they were doing to the little girl was just wrong, flipping her upside down by her legs and then tossing her, that one was lucky she got caught. there should also be a certain age its ok, the little boy at the beginning seemed kinda young, bones and what not have not developed into their rubbery state, while the little girls seemed a bit older and more of the "invulnerable" stage.

That child could very easily not be caught. A child isn`t a ball.

that was normal.
i remember doing that when i was a little kid.
although they were tossing that one girl kinda crazy.

all u people say this is bad r gay. and wrong because kids ARE toys, u feed them new foods and watch there face cringe at mustard, u give them a bath and show them how to blow buubles, u teach em how to throw a baseball and if they get a bruise BIG DEAL thats part of being a kid and so is this.

I`m about to be a parent (WOOHOO!!!!!) but with my catching abilities this will not be happening with MY kid!!! Watching that made me NERVOUS, but who am I to judge a persons parenting skills, eh? Kids looked fine to me!

- what if he did frop one of them? and they landed on the concrete on their head...-

I think if they managed to land on concrete, the throw would probably be where things went wrong, not the catch."

...lol i said frop.
yeah, my comment wouldnt have made sense to people who actually watched the video, because i couldnt watch it..i saw the table and i thought it was concrete that the guy was standing on, which is why i couldnt watch it, cos i thought he would drop him :-|
but, who knows they might not always do it on grass... and grass doesnt break a fall that well you know, it would still hurt them :-(

I personally think kids are pampered way-to-much. Come on... where are the metal slides that were 20 feet tall the monkey-bars, the spiral slides and all the fun stuff we did as kids!!!!"

i can understand what you mean, but what they are doing is just putting them in obvious danger, what if he did frop one of them? and they landed on the concrete on their head...

it could kill them! theyre not immune!

How is this bad parenting? Dangerous..Maybe?(If you dip your hands in a bucket of KY) I had this happen to me and I loved it as a child. Besides, there are far worse things children get themselves into than this I am sure.

But I also find it quite interesting the people who are most bothered are the younger crowd.

Will they die if dropped? Probably not. Will it be a funny story? I don`t know, what did they break when they hit the ground? If it`s an arm or leg, maybe. If it`s a hip or a cranium or a neck, probably not.

If these were my neighbors, I`d have police out pretty quickly.

Oh wow, this was almost too awful to watch... this is definitely not okay. Those kids could have been hurt, and the little girl who was being flung by her feet, well that one just had me cringing the whole time. This is not resposible parenting and kids are NOT toys...

Nah it`s not that bad. Towards the end looked a little ragdolly, but otherwise it looked legit. I loved this when I was a kid. Used to do it all the time in the pool. Of course pool and earth are a little different on the damage-caused-by-falling-on scale...

That`s just wrong...I was holding my breath while watching this. I wish they would have dropped him in a way because then their butts would have had that kid taken away and it would have taught them a lesson...

When I turn my kids upside down or spin them around by the arms, my wife & mother-in-law get all cringe-y and think the kid`s arms are gonna dislocate or their necks are gonna snap or God knows what else. So they would absolutely freak out and have heart attacks if I did something like that with my kids.

That`s the only thing that stops me, though, `cause it looks like a lot of fun. Kids are made of rubber & they heal quickly. We suburbanites are far too over-protective and gentle on our kids these days. Kids need bumps & bruises growing up. Not from actual abuse (duh) but just from being a kid. And occasionally getting dropped while being hurled through the air by an uncle.

...`The hell?

It`s strange to me, but I don`t think it`s bad parenting.
Now giving your 2 year old a shot of whiskey to help them sleep, that`s a little closer in my book.

1) Will they die if they fall? No
2) Is this a guaranteed funny story? Yes

I thought it was fine. I remember I use to toss my niece, it was on a bed so she wouldnt get hurt... although I did try to throw a spiral...

Bad parenting? My family did that with me when I was that age, and it was fun as all get out. I`ll admit, the part where they flung the little girl by her feet made me cringe, though...

This isn`t bad parenting. I`ll admit, the distance is kinda scary, but I don`t think the kids would be seriously hurt if they had dropped them. What`s scary is having 4 grown men jump on a trampoline when suddenly they notice a fifth little body amongst them. My toddler cousin scared the crap out of us.

Hahahahahhahaha Amber I used to do that to my cat too!! Hey anyone else do kitty bowling? Where you take a cat on a hardwood floor get some good momentum and the just go forever. It`s hilarious because they`re facial expression never changes. They still have that "I`m a cat and better than you look" awww I miss my kitty

There`s a thin line between risking a child`s life and letting them have fun. I have two stepbrothers, 4 and 6, and my boyfriend and I pick them up and spin em around and stuff all the time, but never toss them a handful of yards back and forth.

I don`t think that`s bad parenting at all. I think they`re having fun with the kids and the kids are having a good time. I really don`t think there was a large enough chance that they were going to drop the kids. I used to toss my daughter back and forth with my husband (granted we weren`t standing that far apart) and she got such a kick out of it.

At first I was shocked a little bit, but as the video went on I heard a voice in the back of my head say:

"Well if they drop one, they probably have like 4 left, so it`s no big loss."

Then I couldn`t stop laughing.
