It was a link about a goblin shark, but not footage of a live one. That one made it seem like a recent discovery, which it`s not. It`s interesting to see a live one, but it doesn`t look like the other one.

Maybe we keep screwing with the planet so much that creatures that inhabit areas unknown to man, have no choice but to move into places that they would never go because their environment has been screwed with...lo and behold, a creature not meant to be found on the shores of anywhere, becomes a scientific find that ends up on the dissecting table, when it shouldn`t have ended up there in the first place!!!!!!!!!
Mother Nature is biting us all in the A$S!! Slowly but surely...Polar bears, Elephants and Panda Bears are on the Endangered list...no big deal right?? Explain that to YOUR kids!!!!!!!

anyone find it weird that fish are being found that were believed to be extinct millions of years ago. evolution is bull crap. its based off of carbon dating which is false. cuz it is based of the belief that the amount of carbon 14 in the atmosphere has never changed, so when they find fossils with little carbon 14 they say that they must have been in the ground for millions of years. which is jus assine carbon 14 has had to change i mean cmon really they want us to believe that we evolved from fish but through all of this the atmosphere stayed the same. i swear the world is so iggnorant to this they jus believe every word a scientist spits out.

mjfoxman i agree. people don`t know what to believe nowadays. scientists are always coming up with new "facts" trying to fill in holes that we didn`t even know existed. well you know what, i`m tired of having to change my understanding of the world just because some scientist discovers something new. scientist think they know so much just because they went to "harvard" and got some Master`s of Science "degree" and because they come up with thousands of "facts". i only need one fact my friends; god killed the dinosaurs because they were having too many abortions. case closed.

mjfoxman, I`m a christian, and I have the following to say:

Ok, it IS hard to prove evolution over millions of years, so lets shorten the period. Lets look at viruses. They can evolve to situations in only a few generations, in almost any situation you put them in. This is how these "super bugs" are coming into existance; they are evolving into immunity against our antibiotics. Also, the theory of evolution is based on far more than the decaying of carbon. Oh, and the atmosphere DOESN`T stay the same. Before each ice age the carbon levels dropped, and then begin to rise again.

Once again, note that this is coming from a person who believes in God. You don`t have to believe in evolution, that`s fine, but please don`t call others ignorant for having a belief. Thoughtlessly believing something is ignorance. Whether one is an atheist or not, if they think freely, they aren`t ignorant.

Now that this is over, lets move onto something less controversial, like anti-American ran

nobody404 if ur saying u believe in evolution then im confused, cuz u say u believe in god and that u r a christian re-read genesis 1 and 2 because u missed something there. and what u were talking about with the viruses is called adaptaion it is when a kind adapts to his surroundings and changes to better survive but it stays the same kind, like the flu viruse changing to be more effectinve but it still the flu virus. evolution is when one kind changes into another like a fish to a monkey or some crap like that. and sorry if it sounded like i said evolution is only based on carbon 14. scientist say organisms were first found in the depths of the oceans and then evolved to land animals but they are missing a very important fossil, they have thos fish fossil and they have the land animal fossil they say cam from the fish but how come they havent found the in between fossil of a fish starting to grow the legs and signs of lung development.

the truth is the world is not as old as scientist say, dinosaurs supposedly died out 65 million years ago but yet there are human footprints right next to dinosaur ones in dinosaur valley state park. also why are there instruments found in rocks that resemble a hammer and the rocks are said to be 65 million years old by scientists.

Mjfoxman, if I had to choose who to believe, between you and nobody404, I think I`d go with the guy who doesn`t type like a 12-year-old.
And adaptation is a form of evolution, sweetie.
If you mean adaptation of an individual, such as a human getting used to cold weather, that`s true, but viruses don`t adapt. Viruses that reproduced incorrectly (i.e, mutated) are the ones that luckily are better able to spread and copy.
Those "scientists" worked their asses off for a "degree" at "harvard" so that they could try to dumb things down for people to ignorant to consider other ways of thinking.
Hope you never get sick or injured and need to go to the hospital, lord forbid a doctor proscribes a mutated/evolved strain of virus (antibiotic.)
Hope god leaps out with genesis one and two or whatever to save you.
Hats of to you, nobody404, for being civil.

inside the rock was a hammer it had a piece of wood going through the middle of a piece of metal, and sparklebaby what im saying is coming from a professor who studied evolution and creationism and found that both beliefs involve faith either faith in evolution and faith in creationism but the one difference is that evolution had its flaws and the proof the scientist said they had did not exist and sorry if i was typing correctly im lazy get over it.

and adaptation of a kind is not evolution it means adaptation of a kind means that a specific bird adapts over time to survive in its environment it will. evolution is when a monkey decides to change into a human. they are two totally different things. in one a bird stays a bird and in the other a monkey becomes a human im sorry but i see a difference

1.Adaptation IS part of evolution. That`s how something changes in a superior species. Do you seriously think evolution is about a fish suddenly spring legs for no reason, walked on land, and became us? If you do, you need to research a least a tiny bit before you say ANYTHING about evolution.

    2. Humans never came come monkeys. We only have a common ancestor.

funny how people assume that evolution actually happened.
It`s also funny how the same people who preach tolerance and respect, and also happen to believe in evolution, can`t stand it when another person has a different opinion than theirs.

I know allready I will be dumped on for not believing in evolution, but remember, I`m not forcing my beliefs on any of you, and what you`re doing to me, trying to force me to believe what you believe, MAKES YOU A NAZI.

I would have said it makes you a communist, but all you people are allready communists, or at least communist wannabes, so calling you a communist would be a compliment to you.

Monsdurr adaptation is not evolution. i agree with u we came from one common ancestor, Adam and Eve. i don`t know what you have been taught about evolution but the theory of evolution is that we came from a fish that mutated and evolved into a land animal and over time species kept evolving until finally they evolved into humans. adaptation of a kind is nothing like this. And yes evolutionist believe in adaptation to but im not talking about the same kind as theirs. theirs still means a specific organism changes into another. what im talking about is adaptation of a kind its like when a specific bird adapts maybe by changing its beak to be able to get food in its environment but it is still the same type of bird it has not changed its kind. and monsdurr spend 5 mins on the internet and you can find this out, ive done the research ive talked a professor.

And i realize there are a lot of people who haved and even if you believe something different than me i don`t mean to call you ignorant.

Mjfoxman, you are a HORRIBLE hypocrite.

"i just don`t like how people automatically believe what they are taught."
Assuming you`ve read the bible, go to church, and all those traditions pertaining to your religion, do you not believe everything you are taught about your God? Your priests worked hard to be priests, they earn `degrees`, do they not?

Not to mention, they had to go to school before priesthood.

But to each his own, I suppose.
