If they need a replacement clown, GW will be available for the role in a couple of months. He wont even need the makeup, he looks stupid enough as it is.

Steven King just told me the other day that he based his novel "IT" on Bozo... true story.

Now, I hate clowns but someone who makes a living making people laugh and smile is a person to be respected in my book. Rest in peace, Larry Harmon, the smiles are already fading away.

I grew up watching Bozo... he was a Chicago staple.

And for all the haters, Krusty was based off of Bozo- so eat that.

I thought Bozo was some clown who`s been doing tv since the 50s or something, but the guy in the vid didnt look that old, unless it was shot in the 80s or something.

It got weird when the Tinman started singing "Oil me here, oil me there, oil me everywhere", which is exactly what I said to that $20 hooker last night. Creepy...

Ok, gang. First of all, this guy who`s playing Bozo wasn`t Larry Harmon. That`s the guy who took over for him back in the 90`s. Secondly, this post was more about the annoying tin man than it was Bozo. For those of you who don`t care for Bozo, well, maybe it`s because the show was aimed at children 3-7. Sort of like Romper Room, and Seseame Street. Not to many people have good memories of Bozo past the age of 6. RIP, Bozo!

this has nothing to do with his death, but some irony anyway. his real name is larry Harmon. harmon is my boyfriend`s last name and we call him bozo...we had no idea that was bozo`a real last name!!

My childhood did not include ANY clowns, because I despised them all. I watched the simpsons when I wanted to be entertained :D

How disrespectful, someone who simply wanted to entertain has passed and you can only think of rejoicing. Shame on you. Clown or not, that`s in horrifically poor taste.

I used to love bozo, I had my picture taken with him once, got an autograph and all that jazz.

I don`t know why.

Thats scary.

Why is everyone today afraid of clowns? I never understood it. I used to watch Bozo as a kid, and thought he was the coolest guy in the world. Those kids in the audience don`t look like they`re being traumatized by too much makeup and balloons.

Damn it, now I`ll never get to play that ping-pong-ball-in-the-cup game. I always wanted to do that when I was little.

Le Sigh. So many unfulfilled dreams...... :P

i expected to see him collapse from heart failure on stage and the whole audience going into some form of bozo-less anarchy. but i got the tin man booty dancing.

Clowns are one of my worst fears along with mascots and being in open water and in my unprofessional and somewhat obvious opinion, this clown is FRIGHTENING!!!

Well we are ok for a little while until the dead clown body tears its way out of the morgue....

Zombie + Clown = The need for some fresh pants.

Aw, sad.

On a side note...I think you could have found a better video. The tin man took up like 80% of the video.

I was more disturbed by the "tin man".
He was my favorite character in the Wizard of Oz.
I think that guy was just a hobo that happened to walk in with a tinfoil hat on.

It`s sad that he`s dead. But man, what is it with kids and stupid crap like that? Why is it so funny? I was watching a clown a few days ago, the kids loved her but I thought she was a moron.

Growing up sucks sometimes.
