You"re dead and you think all the pain and crap is over right? Nope, in these cases, you"re just getting started.

Ah.. these are pretty cool, though the self-mummification one was kinda creepy for me.. Oh and can`t forget those widows.. reminds me of what they`d do to witches back in the day..

I`m glad I don`t live in India O.o

Also, I now have a new found respect for the buddhists in my neighbourhood. I wonder if they have a hidden "Self-mummification" room in the temple? I`m gonna check it out...

Yeeeaaah the widow burning thing is a little out there. Of course, the Vikings did that too...on a boat...in the ocean.
My plan is to sculpt a small clay statue of myself as one of my superhero characters, make a mold from it. Then when I die, be cremated, have my ashes mixed with plaster or bronze, and poured into the mold to make a little statue.

i wouldn`t mind some of theses.
i see it pointless to bury someone.
eventually we`re going to run out of space to put people.
i think ima get cremated. but i don`t my ashes kept.
don`t know for sure where i want them yet though.

When I die want to be cremated and the urn will be sealed, then I want my ashes at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. Yep lotta` history on that there Finn, lotta` history. *wipes hands with greasemonkey cloth*

The space burial one was funny, when they said aliens might think that the body was a declaration of war.

The rest were just sick though

I agree with Aqua Bird.
I mean, it`s the circle of life. Stuff dies so other stuff can eat it.
And I`d much rather give birds dibs on my remains over maggots and worms. XP

"The destruction of the deceased`s home and refusal to acknowledge him is their way of telling the ghost to drat off."

They are less expensive as your average funeral. In the US the least expensive funeral is 10K, the average is 30K. Getting turned into a diamond for 15K is less than the average funeral, and you get a diamond. How cool is that?

Damn, those lifegems are expensive, over £2000?! Why not spend that money having the best holiday ever, `in honour` of the dead person.

The space burial sounds really cool!

^^^^ YOUREWINNER, I know, what a waste of a good dress/suit.

I`ve always wanted to be mummified after I die. I`d have to make sure to find someone who knows how to do it though. I watched a tv show where they did it wrong once, and when they tried to position the limbs, they broke off... o_o

Here`s another weird one: some cultures dress up their dead in suits and fancy dresses, stick them in a very fancy polished and decorated wooden box, and bury them ten feet under the ground, and throw a concrete slab on top of the box, never to be seen again! How odd is that?

I love how the Buddhists see the body as a vessel which matters not, yet they`ll self mummify it just in case.

the burning of the widow was the worst. muslims don`t even have respect for women when they r married. i heard of a woman being stoned to death for shaking another mans hand. god damn crazy religions.

Personally when I`m dead, I want to be propped up on strings like Weekend at Bernie`s for about a week and taken to Great Adventure one more time. Then they can put me on the slingshot there and thrust me into the sky.

I don`t really see what`s so bad about number 3, the one where your corpse is fed to birds...
You`re dead. You might as well get whatever nutrients are left in your body back into the ecosystem.
