TR-Wolf - You are indeed right. It was Nathan Lane, not Mel Brooks - my mistake!

"It`s on the `Nicktoon`s` channel. Usually at about 2 in the morning, though. At least it was last year. Along with Invader Zim, Rocko`s Modern Life, Action League Now (<3), Angry Beavers (<3), Clarrisa Explains It All, Legends of the Hidden Temple, ect, ect. All those awesome old shows."

Last year. They took out Nick GUTS and combined with something else. They still have some but most of the good ones are gone

TR-Wolf wins.

Both versions of The Producers are awesome.

The chubby little Nazi that says "Don`t be stupid be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!" is voiced by Mel Brooks.

If only Hitler was alive today...so we could hear his screams of:
"NEIN!! NEIN! ICH BIN NICHT SCHWUL!!"
as he cringes watching this.

The original Producers was better. But why are we resorting to just posting whole movie clips here? Cheap cop-out.

Isnt this from "The Producers" by Mel Brooks? Someone already said that, didn`t they...

Turnshroud, definitely rent both. Both have their merits, and both are different enough to make it interesting to see in a row. The first one is a classic, too, with loads of amazing actors (seriously, you can`t miss Gene Wilder snuggling up with a ratty old blanket).

Saw it when it first came to my town, and I thought it was on par with the original movie. Definitely a must see as well.

Best. Scene. Ever.

I prefer the musical on stage best, but this recent movie musical was very good. But the original was good too, but as that was a comedy and the recent movie was a musical, its hard to compare. But I prefer the version shown in the vid clip :)

I`m gonna have to jump on the `Yay, John Barrowman!` bandwagon. Sorry, but the man is sex on legs!

Frigging hilarious movie!

This never gets old. Ever.

TR-Wolf knows his sh*t. Which version did you like better? In a way, thought, it`s like comparing the two versions of Hairspray.

No, it`s not a remake as such. The 1968 movie with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel, by Mel Brooks was made into a musical, by Mel Brooks, which was then made into a movie musical by Mel Brooks, but with Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane as the leads instead (someone earlier tried to recap the plot but they said Mel Brooks instead of Nathan Lane, fyi)

Whoah...ok so this is a remake?

Note to self rent the Producers when possible, maybe both versiams

Wow...

Oh man. This brings me back to high school. Before that awful remake was made, "The Producers," was something that very few people even knew about. My friends and I loved the movie and used to sing this song all the time, mainly to cause unsuspecting people around us to look at us with shock and horror when we were singing in such happy voices about Hitler!

I hate how people still believe the Arian race is the superior race. Have there ever been a famous inventor, mathematician, physician that was pure Arian? Nope, never. Adolf was totally wrong, he himself was not even close to being purely Arian.

Pabasa - "Right, for someone with ZERO background on this matter (I don`t get it):
WTF?"

Okay so basically Matthew Broderick is Mel Brooks` accountant in the film, and he tells him that he can make more money with a flop of a play than hit, so they find the most controversialm bad play ever written, hire the worst director in town, and the worst actors. The director is the guy that plays Hitler, and is incredibly gay. The actor who is supposed to be playing Hitler (Will Farrel,), who worships Hitler, breaks his leg on opening night, so the producer guy has to play Hitler, therefore gaying him up big time! And so the play is a hit etc ... Pretty much the gist of it!

I love this new version more than the old 60s movie version. But also as you can imagine, if you see The Producers on stage, its even better, as the song is longer and has Hitler facing off with Stalin, Churchill, and Roosevelt, and some other stuff.

I hate Viacom. They`re the reason why i cant find "Figure-It-Out" anywhere (seriously try looking for it on youtube, google, nick, all you get are people being slimed). DO YOU KNOW FOR HOW LONG I`VE WANTED TO HEAR KEVIN ASK "Where you, like me, raised by Penguins?"

This is hilarious.. I love The Producers.

And regarding Viacom. They can suck me. YouTube is hosting it. I heard they were trying to get IP addresses of people who watched stuff.. That infringes my rights.

Female 761
Okay, so, Viacom is suing Google for any Youtube content that`s illegally watched, and they have a memory server that`s trying to prove that that`s what is the most watched. This is an example of it. Woohoo for no more fun clips on the internet other than compilations of fail.
