Earthquakes happen all over, most of the time you dont even feel them. But the midwest has several fault lines with the potential of one day having a big one. St. Louis, and places along the Mississippi. There are even some small quakes here in Columbia, MD.

That was surprisingly orderly. Like what Communism would be like.

What wimps, we get earthquakes here all the time, most of the time I just sleep right through them.

If I`m not asleep they really aren`t that big of a deal, maybe a couple things fall of my shelves but nothing compared to a tornado or hurricane.

Prime, you`re going to UCLA? Nice, I-A-B offices are about 15 minutes away.

As far as earthquake procedure goes, there`s a lot of nervous laughter during the actual quake followed by wondering whether or not you should duck under a table or not. Yesterday`s is the worst I`ve ever been in and i`ve Lived in so. cal my whole life.

They`re kinda fun once you get to a safe place and you`re sure nothing`s gonna fall on you.

Well I live in Scotland, so until global warming really goes to balls all I have to worry about is what shoes to wear when its pishing it down.

here in north carolina we have the occasional hurricane or tornado, but the main thing is the killer humidity in August.

=====================================

I live in the tropics, I know about humidity

I guess it`s a good thing we don`t get earthquakes here in the valley of the sun. We only have to worry about dehydration and heat stroke.

I did, it wasn`t too bad. The funny thing is that im use to tornado`s and I hated the Twister ride. Of course it might have been the giant flames 2 feet from my face that did it

^^LMAO @ Davy!

Strange that they all needed to look at each other first before deciding to run outside. Screw everyone else, just run for it!

Hey Prime, you`re in Miami, right? Why not take a ride up to Orlando and take a spin on the Earthquake ride at Universal Studios.

If you come off the ride and feel a little queasy, I`d say UCLA could be for you. If however you come off the ride waddling like an emperor penguin due to the enormous turd which has taken up residence in your undercrackers, you might wanna rethink LA man.

Earthquake procedure: If you can get outdoors, get outside and enjoy the show. If you can`t get outdoors, get under a heavy desk or some sturdy furniture of some kind. If you can`t get under a desk, get under a door lintel. If you can`t get under a door lintel, you`re probably f*cked so therefore have nothing to lose... Shake your fist at the sky and scream "Is this it, you big beardy wanker? Is this the best you can do? Is this it?

I AM THE THIRD REVELATION! I AM THE THIRD REVELATION! I AM THE THIR-"

Cue death by crushing under several thousand tons of apartment block.

that didn`t seem too bad really (which is good for them).... I was expecting the bikes to fall and have some major wreckage.

Yes, yes I am. UTexas is starting to look a lot better. Maybe even a Georgia. And if I get drunk enough I`ll consider northern schools. I can get accepted to nearly all schools, its just the cold that I dont like

My general procedure has been to continue sleeping, then wake up to fallen furniture and confusion.

Im curious, whats the standard procedure for an earthquake. I know for a hurricane you shelter up the house and munch on marshmellows until you pass out from George Lopez re-runs. What about quakes
