So, if my understanding is correct, some things are really big while others are quite small?

"But 10^0 isn`t 1 meters, it is 10 multiplied by 10 zero times, which is some advanced poo in mathematics."

Sorry there humperdink - 10 to the 0 is one. To simplify for you it is 10 with zero zeroes... or 1. My brother just finished grade 5, and he knows that. Advanced? I don`t think so. I do think that you should think twice about going into business as a math tutor though.

I think the most interesting part of that video was seeing if those blue squares actually came every ten seconds.

I remember watching this in eighth grade science on Halloween. Our teacher scared the poo out of us with a gorilla mask and started jumping all over the desks.

"But 10^0 isn`t 1 meters, it is 10 multiplied by 10 zero times, which is some advanced poo in mathematics."

Not really. 10^0 is the same thing as saying 10^5/10^5.
In Math 10^5/10^3=10^2
So 10^0 is nothing more than 10^5/10^5. And 10/10= 1

"Makes me realize how small and insignificant we really are in this world. *suicide* The nuclei inside my skin cells` molecules are thinking the same thing now.
that only took us to 100 million light years. there is at least 14 billion light years of space lol. so feel even more insignificant.
I feel small and insignificant.
ya i feel like a tottaly unimortant peice of dogg doo doo..."

I would have the same problem if it wasn`t for the fact that I knew I was at the center of the universe

Ok fine, I watched it...

The narrator sound like a higher pitched version of Bob from series 2 of Heroes. Kinda sounds like he might look similar too. I don`t know why I thought that...

this makes me wonder.....

if space is vast and endless, whats at the end?

what`s smaller/inside the smallest molecule we`ve seen?

are we an electron(earth) circling a nucleus(the sun)?

Brainache!!!

My earth & space teacher taught us something along these lines. It was really neat, and it was during the first or second class. He really knows how to make his students feel insignificant.

Even though it`s old, I love the editing when it`s zooming out.

And you you think that`s intense, watch The Mole Song.

After watching that, you know what 23 zeroes can mean, then imagine 40 o_0
