I`ve watched his lecture so many times, i thought he`d already died. Now I`m mourning all over again.

Truly, and inspiration...
I really wish this had turned out differently.

Hey fancylad! Don`t be a prick! He lived about what they said he had left. Let the man do something special, ok? Don`t rain on his, now finished, parade.

"wasn`t this guy diagnosed years ago?"

No, last fall he was given six months. He was able to stretch it a little bit, but that`s all. He was the definition of inspirational.

This was a great man. A huge inspiration to me. One of the most popular self declared geeks in the world. He created a Virtual Reality course for aspiring game creators at his college, and worked for Disney as an imaginer. Watch the lecture, it`s truly heart warming.

Pausch seems like quite an admirable person, not that many people would be able to have the attitude about it like he did.

You must have to be a mod, notice Fancylad has it too.

At least he died knowing his family would be taken care of, with that $6 million book deal and all.

I am extremely proud of him. Developing Alice for basic game development, and contributing so much to the IT world, he has gone above and beyond with a golden heart. The man has guts, and good will. He will surely be missed.
