Gad.. don`t any of you get this?

Its simple psychology. White racist will not vote for Obama because he is black. Black people love Obama and will vote for him. If they change the idea about black people loving Obama they think they might change the outlook that will make people reverse. That is, if black people hate him, then as a white racist to hate the black man, you should vote for him.

I`m liberal AND black and I say Jesse Jackson (and Al Sharpton) can go piss up a rope. All they do is jump on the bandwagon and abuse situations for personal gain. They are also racist as hell and serve 0 purpose except to stir sh*t up.

"Why is everyone getting bothered over this?

FREEDOM OF SPEECH."

Freedom of speech does not guarantee that nobody will be pissed off at the comments you make.

I am not surprised at all about his comments on Obama. I have a feeling the many black leaders are suppressing that. He just isn`t what they pictured.

I usually just read the posts and enjoy the debate, but I had to create an account to get in on this one...

For all the people complaining that this is not an issue, ask Don Imus if this should be an issue. It is the reverse-racism that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton bring to the table with every issue that makes this an issue. If Imus were to say this about Senator Obama, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be calling for his job (again). I am glad that Jackson had a hot mic, because this shows who the man really is causing him to have even less credibility.

That is my two cents. Not trying to create a debate, but these two people are the "leaders" that divide a country instead of uniting it.

Owned.

Everyone has an opinion of high profile people. It`s just a fact. Besides, he`s over-apologising about it anyway, so we don`t need to get on his case.

Oh, and how can a black man be racist to a black man?

Freedom of speech is bull. its not really real get used to it.

jesse jackson is wack he needs to go eat a dick and "apologize" with his lips on a white man`s rear end. White people should complain about people like jesse and al sharpton being on networks such as CNN all the time except situations like this where they clearly say stupid or far out stuff and can take joy in this. there are too many niggas in america who hang on race baiters like jesse and al and that is a big problem. they are the most ignorant and when those guys come up with new bull they eat it up like its candy. I`m not trippin niggas need to man up and forget about people like jesse and just do their own thing.

If I was Obama I wouldn`t "accept the apology" and I would tear him a new one over it.

I hope jesse jackson disappears for awhile with Sharpton. I`m sick of tired of them being the national spokesmen for all "black people" when something happens and having us look like fools. However i did laugh when i heard the nuts part, how very mature of you jesse.

I was more interested in the ticker. Hyundai workers protest US beef? Central News Network = Money? Another baby killed? Taking this long to apologize for discrimination towards blacks?

And after a while, that reporter looked more and more like a young Barack himself.

I love that guy. Nobody likes him. The people that say they do are just pretending, because they`d rather not be on the receiving end of his douchebaggery.

Sharpton is next. They have to distance themselves from him.If they back him its over. He knew that mike was on.I dont know why sharpton wasnt charged with insinuating a riot ,Two BLACK officers and one white killed a black man but sharpton called on everyone to march and shut down the city because it was a black man killed
he should have been charged with terrorism as well for inciting a riot. It was not racist, notice we havent heard from ni sharpton
I`m not a racist but I hate them both

Why is anyone talking about freedom of speech here? Free speech is a drating myth unless someone "important" says something stupid. Normal people get censored on the streets and even on the goddamn internet where we`re all anonymous anyway. That`s not freedom. America is learning to accept bullcrap half-freedom as a result of promises from our country two hundred years ago and it`s sick and sad.

its not the matter of freedom of speech. its the fact that all these stupid news networks always run with a story that have no real importance, and blow it way out of porportions. i wouldnt be surprised if some news channels has a story with the title " is Obama losing african american support" just becuz of wat jackson said. its like when they made a big deal with the lepel pin BS.

Jesse Jackson, like Al Sharpton are as racist as KKK members. I think it is funny to call either of them "civil rights activists". Its like calling the aryan nation civil rights activists.

It was a stupid and PERSONAL thing to say.

Are you telling me that you don`t say stupid poo once in a while? Sure, it wasn`t a good time to say it, but I am sure Obama says some really stupid crap off camera.

You have to remember: they are PEOPLE TOO.

Get over it.

Freedom of speech means you can say what you want. No one is saying Rev. Jackson didn`t have the right to say he wants to deprive Obama of his testicles; we`re just saying it was a stupid thing to say.

The apology means nothing, he just has to cover his ass because he blew it. What a dumbass. Even if he thought the microphones were off, why take the chance? It`s bad enough he thinks that, he should`ve made sure it was a private place. He deserves every negative bit of publicity he`s getting over this. That was unprofessional and stupid. What a moron.
