i thought it would be a funny birthday present for my brother who lost his job and was looking for a new one

there`s a picture of him opening the box with those pants in there somewhere on my computer i`ll look for it!

Designer jeans are pointless. Spill some paint on some wal-mart jeans or rip them a bit, and viola, you have the exact same thing. so sad that people actually buy those.

I`m all for art and such, but this is just crap! It takes all the fun out of having your favorite jeans. I have my painting jeans. I`m wearing them now. But I got the paint on them, so it kicks more ass than these jeans. And Osirisascend, you made me laugh.

Some scenester took his parents credit card and bought these because he has a really cool studded white belt that will go perfectly with these jeans, and make him that much cooler than the rest of us.

Not surprised. I used to go to school with people who used to find TJ Maxx the cheapest stuff ever (I mean, it`s cheap, but not like my cheap, which is Walmart or thrift shops). There was one girl who even drooled over spending $40 on a shirt. I feel sorry for them after college...

Yeah, never. The only time I`d ever spend that kinda money is on electronics, which would be useful much longer than that piece of crapola.

I`ll tell you who buys this crap. My boss. She spent $10 THOUSAND dollars on a floor length ball gown (from Saks, I poo you not) and then had me spend *another* $50K to plan and throw a party so she could wear the damn dress. If one of her chichi friends were seen wearing these jeans, she`d run out and buy 3 pairs.

I work for lunatics.

I like them. If they were bootlegged and about half the price, I`d buy them. I normally pay about £50-£75 for a pair of jeans anyway.

hmm wonder if I tried making jeans like these if I could sell them for $285? I do this kind of crap to my jeans all the time by accident so there`s no need for me to spend loads of money on something I can make myself.

You should only sell them for about $50-$75 though. And carry the ad around when you sell. That way they realize what a bargain they are getting.

I hate spending $15 on a pair of jeans..LOL. I use to work in the T-Shirt design/printing industry.

We printed A&F shirts for about $1.78 each. They hit the store shelf at $20-$50 each.

The profits for clothing manufacturers are insane.

Well i do kinda like the distressed look, i`m not gonna lie, but
1- thses jeans are ugly, not really distressed, just look like they belong to someone who paints houses for a living.
2. wayyyy to expensive.

also i have a pair of jeans that used to be just plain dark blue but then my mom was washing them and accdently added bleach so now they are clean looking dark blue jeans with a huge bleach stain
i still wear them though

I think it`s going for the whole "these are my favorite jeans, they`re worn out because I wear them so much" look...except you don`t have to put in the time...It`s like the baseball caps at American Eagle
