Down a dim corridor in a tiny, locked room is the cave of spirits. A home for the dead and last hope for the possessed.

A world without spirits and mysticism is a very dull and boring existence.

So, the symptoms of demon possession equate to those of spinning round in a circle real fast. Interesting.

"Ganga Action Plan or GAP was a program launched by Government of India in April 1985 in order to reduce the pollution load on the river Ganga. The program was launched with much fanfare, but it terribly failed to decrease the pollution level in the river, after spending 901.71 crore (approx. 1010) rupees over a period of 15 years.[1][1]"

Sod-off flusy!

They do bath daily, And, oh, gess what?

"It is filled with chemical wastes, sewage and even the remains of human and animal corpses which carry major health risks by either direct bathing in the water (e.g.: Bilharziasis infection), or by drinking (the Fecal-oral route)."

..|..

However:

"The combination of bacteriophages and large populations of people bathing in the river have apparently produced a self-purification effect, in which water-bourne bacteria such as dysentery and cholera are killed off, preventing large-scale epidemics. The river also has an unusual ability to retain dissolved oxygen.[1]"

Overnight, I also like to take possession of women. Does that make me a spirit?
Lucky the doors of oblivion seem quite flimsy...

guess what? the prime ministers had spent decadesw in the cleaning of the ganges. there are laws on the river now. and there were millions ,no billions of dollars spent on it. and oh ya, they dont burn their dead up stream. you dont burn stuff in water. and washing has certain days only. they dont go there everyday to take baths.

I wouldn`t be surprised if it ends up being Mercury Poisonning form that Freakin` Gangis (sp) River.

They burn their dead upstream, wash downstream. Not to mention every other bit of un hygenic happenings, discusting. So polluted.

I think its funny how many people on here don`t believe in spirits and appear to be completely atheist.
--------------------------------------------------

Thats a bloody stupid statement. Contrary to popular dumbass belief, being atheist dosnt acctually mean you dont belive in spirits or an afterlife..it just means u dont belive in a god.

That said, as an atheist I`ve seen no proof of spirits or an afterlife...but I know people who claim otherwise. I just say prove it and I`ll belive.

Nope, I still think it`s 4 dimensional beings entering our minds through the time space continuum in order to train their military in psychic warfare in the near future.

The coconut is considered special in India and in Hinduism because it is the only fruit that has a liquid inside. That uniqueness is the reason why it is considered the fruit representative of God. Since it`s one of a kind. Hence why they probably used it to ward of spirits. Go using knowledge of my culture and background.

UGH...In India anything that brings attention to the family is considered good. So often a family will act out just to be known. The gap between the wealthy and poor is HUGE. In fact it`s very sad.

Apple, there`s a lot of coconut smashing in certain Hindu and Vedic rituals. Not sure why, I guess that`s just how those rituals developed. Maybe the abundance of coconuts in India has something to do with it.
