I thought everyone learned this in World Geography?
Unless you were looking at the Peter`s Projection map, the map you were looking at was wrong. This is the most accurate map for the scale of the different shapes of the world:
i want to see a cookie commercial were someone has a empty chips ahoy container thing(whatever you call the plastic tray and wrapper cookies come in...) and starts putting oreos in it till its full then says oreos are over prices cause more oreos sold last year but you can fit a pack and a half in the chips ahoy container.. makes no sense at all.
those might be made by the same company but it would still be a funny comparison to this.
My thoughts exactly. What`s so interesting about this?
ps: argentina`s there
No one ever said Africa was a COUNTRY.
And LaMigra77, your comment was ignorant, and totally uncalled for. Why does someone always have to throw racism into discussions here? Oh that`s right... It`s the internet, where you can make foolish comments and not get your ass kicked.
LaMigra77=Internet tough guy... Everybody FEAR HIM!!!
#1 Asia - (44,579,000 sq km) - 30.21%#2 Africa - (30,065,000 sq km) - 20.38%#3 North America - (24,256,000 sq km) - 16.44%#4 South America - (17,819,000 sq km) - 12.08%#5 Antarctica - (13,209,000 sq km) - 8.95%#6 Europe - (9,938,000 sq km) - 6.74%#7 Australia/Oceania - (7,687,000 sq km) - 5.21%
You can say without doubt: ``Did you know that Western-Europe, America, England with his islands, and China all fit in Africa ?``
You will look really smart.
It`s the same thing with Alaska
But um that`s great for Africa I guess....
I still dont know wheather to believe it or not if they left out Alaska and Hawaii
Also this picture is an exercise in meaninglessness. As has been said, Africa is a damn continent. Sure we might have some retards who`ve never seen a globe before who don`t know that--but come on! Besides, you could probably comfortably fit Africa and Europe in Asia.
This is something a retarded publication like USA Today would publish. I expect better from the Times of London.
Wikipedia-ing is not that hard you know.
Yay human rights.
I refuse to believe this until I get an answer. As far as the credibility goes, Africa doesn`t exist.
