I don`t care how drated I am...I think I`d know a train when I feel/see/hear one.
My dad was a cunductor and he used to tell us all kinds of horror stories about trains to keep us kids from doing stupid crap like that. It worked too. When I was little my dad took me to work with him a lot and one time I was on the train when it hit a guy and his girlfriend on a moped trying to beat the train.
peanut x, I was thinking the exact same thing. People who mess around on train tracks are idiots. When I was a teenager these two stoner dudes were getting drunk and high in the woods near my house. It was a hot summer night and since the woods were right by the train tracks they decided to stand on the tracks to catch a breeze from a passing train. Problem was they didn`t notice the train coming at them on their track as they were cooling off from the train on the other track. Splat!! They were both torn apart. The cops found one kid`s head in a tree and the other kid had an open casket at his wake, but there was nothing but wire underneath his suit from about his shoulders down because he had no torso.
This train is a regular Electric running train, Meaning the rails will be filled with a high, voltage. High enough to easily kill someone. And he`s kinda sitting on the rail near the begining...
They have to stop when they run someone over, they can`t just ignore that. And it`s not that problematic for other trains but it causes delays.
And the whole `why didn`t the conductor stop the train` discussion:To me it looks like the train is getting slower, so maybe it stopped after the video ended. Or the conductor saw the guy standing up again after he ran over him and decided to keep going.
And 100th post! W00T! *hands out cookie*
Oh shut it.
Anyways, it takes miles for trains to come to a full stop. Lots of inertia behind it. Even then, It wouldn`t surprise me if train conductors are trained to just keep going even if they do hit a dude; stopping a train dead on the tracks might become problematic for another train five miles down the line heading that way too, if you get my drift.
on topic.... i cant do that here...the trains that comethrew here are gigantic, and take ten minutes just to go across an intersection. and the trains that come threw here have those huge metal things on the front that scrape along the tracks, pushing everything out of its way...you know like dead animals and stuff...or humans.
i would try it... if it wasnt so stupid.
This is why I barley post here because people like to be dicks for no reason
That conductor was like WTF!!!
/sarcastically/ Yea... a train can stop from full speed in a few hundred meters.
