Happy Birthday, Malcolm McDowell

He may turn 65 today, but we"ll always remember him as the Droog who so beautifully sang Singing in the Rain. NSFWish.

Ok. That was kinda stupid in my opinion. For one thing, I never saw the movie.

Malcom McDowell is one of my favorite actors! He was grand in A Clockwork Orange, but also in If....
O Lucky Man! too!

It`s not about rape and violence. It`s about free will. And both the book and the movie are masterpieces.

Dr. Strangelove definitely ranks up there in my favorite movies list. "There`s no fighting in the War Room!" Classic :-D

I loved the movie. But I LOVED the book even better. It was so screwed up, especially when he raped those two little girls.
A Clockwork Orange was a masterpiece in a literary sense!!

Amazing book, great movie. Overall an interesting story and message about youth. Although since the movie leaves out the 21st chapter, Burgess`s point is not really made. Still a nice adapatation though.

Best movie ever, and a really great book. Just a horrorshow of a book.

Haha, I imagine this must seem pretty bizarre to those that haven`t seen the film.
Or read the book...
Both are great.

AWESOME BOOK. movie wasn`t that great compared to it.

thank you. thank you for being literate. Thank you for reading modern classics. Thank you for watching a movie created way before your time (a Kubrick flick no less)

I detest this movie. Loathe it, actually. I`m sure it gets better after the rape and killing, but frankly, I couldn`t bring myself to watch it past this part. Too disgusting.

But Happy Birthday? lol.

Ohhh, I only watched the beginning, as I am at the working place of me.

I apologize for the disappointment comment, and will remove it post haste.

Still a fantabulous film.

Wow, that was really bizarre. One of those 60s or 70s drug induced things I guess. Anyway, happy birthday. Bring on the Ensure and Viagra.
