@ Mikeado - Yeah, we do. Frankly, it offends me to see Christianity made into such a joke. A theme park? You might as well build a Christian themed mall. Or sell Christian themed pop CDs... Or build Christian book stores... Oh, wait! They`re already doing that. I wish I could get my hands on some of these evangelical neocon bigwigs that are turning the faith into a business (more than it was already)...

You guys who can`t believe this isn`t in the U.S.:

The Holy Land Experience

I can see Noah`s Ark every time I get off I-4 at Conroy Rd. Quite annoying because they tried to get tax exemption. They don`t have any rides though.

Haha, I wonder if they want us to show up pre or post learning of good and evil. (Apparently knowing this is bad, according to the bible)

You see, what happened was, a few christians have bought into the "end of the world" theory about 2012, and they believe the world will end when Jesus comes back, so they figured that Jesus would like somewhere really kick-a$s to have his big return to the spotlight.

This actually sounds really cool.
I`m an atheist, but this just sounds really really cool.
I`m glad people have enough pride in their faith to build something like this to homage it.
I want to go to old testament land.

So, now my question is about the Mall / Temple - Does Jesus start thrashing the moneylenders every time you use your credit card?

"i hope they don`t get their money."

What the hell is wrong with you? I`m a fervent atheist on this site, but to wish them ill just because you disagree with their beliefs is asinine. Let them build a theme park if they like, and be thankful that you are allowed the same priveleges.

Now that I think about it, while schools and scientific institutions are the perfect representation of atheism, a theme park is in many ways a real manifestation of religion.

Crap, 2012. Thats when there is that whole solar flare up thing, and the LA earthquake. Bad timing. If it was 2011. different story.

that heaven/hell themed roller coaster sounds scary. Swoop up, see some angels, then plunge down into the fiery gates of hell to be anally raped at like 80 mph by 50 of satan`s minions and possibly involving some pineapples? because you know, christians have to make hell look reaaalllly scary so they can scare all the children into submission...

LOL. Sounds like a barrel full of fun...

It`s funny...under half of Germans believe there is a god, yet about 70% of them consider themselves Christian.
Same story with the UK.
