I`ve seen the Mark Twain thing on some cable station a few months back. I couldn`t tell what the targeted audience was because it was pretty scary.... And I watched New Zoo Review all the time as a kid lol

"People, look up Other old Canadian PSA ads - some are pretty good, a lot are pretty - out there.

Anybody remember the two Bunnies on the Hover Boards?"
Stay Alert, Stay Safe

This is one of the few that used to run (And sometimes still do) on Canadian television. I remember them well, along with the others that you posted. :-)

"This creepily-claymated rendition of Mark Twain’s classic story “The Mysterious Stranger” has a group of kids meeting Satan … with results so unsettling, this episode was apparently banned from TV."

Apparently it was only banned because he smoked a cigar, lol.

Also, does anyone else feel that the girl liking apples isn`t a coincidence?
I dunno, maybe I`m reading too much into it.

"The Adventures of Mark Twain" one isn`t scary at all.
I find Satan itself oddly beautiful..
And the whole clip is a good representation of.. something.
My brain died. D:

I`m pretty sure I saw the New Zoo Revue on TV not too long ago on some local Christian network and wondered how the hell something so old and weird is still aired.

"Well... he does look like a black boy."

I think that`s actually a girl. But why the hell did her mum say "it`s not like you`re really black", that sounded pretty racist to me. I really don`t get the point of this damn video.

The "mysterious stranger" was actually kinda cool (in a creepy way). But as a kid I probably would`ve found it really disturbing.

Mysterious stranger was really frightening and yet amazing. And boy I`d love to get my hands on some nosegays and grow some "noses" of my own.

This was a very creepy collection...

"Always ask someone you love before putting anything in your mouth." What if you don`t love them. Maybe you are just lonely and they are hot. Is that okay, or is it a whole different PSA?

And I will have nightmares about The Mysterious Stranger. Creeepee!

People, look up Other old Canadian PSA ads - some are pretty good, a lot are pretty - out there.

Anybody remember the two Bunnies on the Hover Boards?

They used to show them early in the morning on CTV and CBC inbetween shows like The littlest Hobo, TMNT, Street Cents and the Real Ghostbusters.

Drugs, (Some are good, Some ar bad!) Strangers and just about everything, really.

Hahaha, I remember "Don’t put it in your mouth!" All too well. I did not like that comercial.

"The mysterious Stranger" was pretty awsome.

As the great Lewis Black once said:

"What the f**k was that about?! How can that be on TV more than once? HOW?!"

The Mark Twain one was epic, however.

I loved that part in Mark Twain! As a kid I used to watch it over and over, and the fact that I once tried to kill my little brother has nothing to do with it. Honest!

Anyone else find Noseybonk`s reaction to the giant nose-penis plants creepy?
