While I"m dying, I hope I"m able to give a cool speech right before I croak. There"s nothing like going out in style.

Well, one of my faves is Boromirs final speech to Aragorn. It`s short and sweet. Makes me cry everytime.
This is a great list though.

True Romance: Dennis Hopper Teaches Genealogy;

Totally efed up, racist POV... none the less, a brilliant acting performance. We`ll probably never, ever see a popular Hollywood movie scene like this again in todays molly codling, politically correct world.

Seven/American Beauty & ESPECIALLY Blade Runner: Three of the greatest movies ever made. If only they still made movies as deep as those.

"Unfortunately, American Beauty has not aged well; it currently shares a place on the DVD shelf with other forgotten Best Picture winners like The English Patient and Crash."

You cant compare American Beauty with those two;
American Beauty was a master piece... The English Patient And Crash (2004) were absolute, melodramatic, Hollywood assembly line, manufactured pieces of crap.

Just my two cents...

I really liked American Beauty. And I agree, the Titanic would have been a good one. It made me cry. Haha.

Yeah, I just saw the words "Shawshank Redemption" and the tear ducts kicked in... I didn`t dare watch the video. I`d be bawling by the end of it.

Those weren`t that good. I can think of 5 much better off the top of my head: Spock, Wrath of Khan; Col. Nicolsen, Bridge over the River Kwai; Antoninus, Spartacus; Annakin Skywalker, Return of the Jedi; Mr. Orange, Resivoir Dogs "I`m dratin DYin here"

^^Titanic? Really? I don`t think so. Anyway, nice list. I agree with all of them. The bit about American Beauty made me sad, though. I really like that movie.

I love the True Romance scene...he had balls of steel prior to his death. I also enjoy the fact that Tarantino didn`t jack up that scene with his own horrible acting
