No. Its replaceable. Just like the hair will grow back.
If you think that hair is unimportant and doesn`t matter then fine, thats your right, just like its her right to decide that her hair IS important to her, and who the F*CK are you to tell her she`s wrong?
She said she has NEVER cut her hair before, not once in her entire life has she her hair been cut, but now thats not true, and she can NEVER have that back.
My hair isn`t anywhere near as important to me as it seems to be to her, but if I had decided that my hair was important to me, and some drating teacher though they had the right to walk up and take it away, like its their drating right to decide things about my body, ohh my drating god. I would be WAY more pissed than she was in this video. I would be FURIOUS.
Regardless of the hair issue, it is NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, right for a teacher to do that to a student. You may think it`s silly, but look at it this way: you just got a new shirt, or a new necklace, or whatever the case and the teacher decides to ruin it. No big deal? No, you would be infuriated. If anything this is worse, it`s not just property, it`s someone`s body.
Maybe I`m going overboard, but I think this teacher should be terminated, regardless of her side of the story. There are no circumstances where this should be perceived as "right."
Also, knock off the goddamn fat jokes you immature twats, we get it already, it wasn`t that funny the first time - it`s not funny now.
And you`re talking about a total loss, anyway. She lost three inches of split ends. Big deal.
I`d be pissed if some random teacher came up to me and even took off one inch
Imagine it like this: You`re doing something important, wether on a game or project of some sort, and BAM! You didn`t save and everything turns off. Suddenly, you have to rewrite everything you did, or play that game from the last save point or wherever, or you have to rebuild that whole house of cards you spent hours on.
Well that`s how I see it anyways.
I mean at school I am the girl with the long hair, and I know that if I cut I wouldn`t feel like me anymore, so I know where she`s coming from.
But i wouldn`t have cried. I would`ve gotten those scissors and cut that damn ladies hair right off! If it wasn`t a wig xP
And it can`t POSSIBLY be years of dried, dead split ends from never having her hair trimmed, could it?
What are you going to do when you are old and start to thin or even go bald, jump out a window?
When I was 12 I had thick, waist length blonde hair. I swam with a braid and it somehow became so knotted there was no other option but to cut it off at chin length. I wasn`t wild about the idea, but I agreed.
Seven years later I could never imagine myself with long hair. Not to mention I save time in the mornings sleeping in than messing with my hair.
About the video: did you see those nasty, ratty dead ends? The girl needed a trim.
This is what hair implants are for =P
How is she no longer the girl with long hair? o_o
And to those of you saying it was no big deal, you...obviously don`t understand. The girl looked like she took real pride in her hair, and I actually thought it looked well taken care of and pretty...until the ends, where it was hacked off. Not everyone has pretty eyes, or a pretty smile, or is pretty. But some people can do pretty hair. I understand where this girl is coming from, because I also take pride in my hair, and if some teacher ever came up and just started cutting it, yeah her scissors would end up in her eye socket. And to those of you making comments on her weight, and how it -somehow- relates to her not having the right to complain about the one thing she was happy with about herself....Go eat a diseased cookie. :C
That teacher should be fired...and the lynched...lol jk about the lynching...but i do like saying lynch!
"It was my identity joo know? i was like the girl with the long hair joo kno?"
Now I will wholeheartedly defend teh teacher!
Moley Moley Moley . Hehehe! xD
Damn people. Stupid teacher. She should be sent to the gallows, imho.
Long hair FTW!
Way to take one for the team, Miss.
Yes, it seems like hair is not really a big issue. Bunch of dead cells, big woop, right? The actual issue is that the woman just came off and cut it with no real apprent reason. Say the teacher doesn`t like your jacket. You deside to take it off and then woops! No more jacket! No big deal, right? It`s just a jacket!Seriously, that teacher needs some sort of punishment. It`s not the hair, it`s the act itself.
well said beeeeen.
Well that statement is sad but, I say termination for aggravated assault for the teacher, Mrs Bit_ch.
The TEACHER can not say YOU CAN`T HAVE LONG HAIR. That is up to the dean/supervisor of the school to decide. There obviously wasn`t a dress code or it would`ve been enforced before a year went by.
She could skip a meal and not be such a lard-ass. Then maybe she would be the cute girl with long hair instead of the fat girl with long hair.
The teacher did nothing wrong
The fugly student should get over it
2) Why did she cut it?
3) "Stolen identity" Unless she ripped her credit card right out of her purse, this sentence holds no value or merit.
Then I`d start crying `cuz I wouldn`t know what else to do.
So, a teacher cuts her hair... yup, not murder, but it breeches her personal space, that, and what else is the teacher going to do with the scissors? You know? If she is going mental? Think about it... its not just the hair cutting thats the issue, its the what if`s.
Either way... boo-hoo got her hair cut, sounds like a child. It`s not like it`s destroyed her identity."there`s that girl that got her hair cut. Lets stay away from her"
But then at the end she goes "maybe she`ll do this to some other girl with hair like mine..."
dun dun dun
Creepy teacher-student obssession hair fetish, much?
And I know lots of girls with self-image problems who have super long hair, and they take great pride in the fact that it has never been cut. It may be strange and a little unreasonable, but a teacher has no right to physically alter something that is such an important part of a child`s image, whether it seems silly or not.
That took more words than necessary. I apologize. :P
stupid move, stupider reaction
that was like 3 inches...
Who knows - maybe your ridiculously long hair will be next to be slightly trimmed. (horror movie music please)
