That looks like a cheap lock... Not something I would buy.
And if i ever wanted to steal a bike, I`d just cut the lock.

Hmmm, I wonder if I have any locks to try it with... I probably won`t be going around stealing people`s bikes with this knowledge.

Who uses these cheap locks anyways? I have two locks for my bike, one u-lock to attach the bike to something secure and another lock for the wheels.

Are those crappy locks still sold in the US? I could crack them when I was 6. They are pieces of $hit. Whoever buys those "locks" deserves to have their bike stolen.

Is this really considered a "hack"?
On another note, I`m about to have a brand new bike.

*sigh* They always use the word `hack` to make it sound cooler than it really is.
    Example:
    `How to hack a bike lock`
`How to open a bike lock when you don`t know the combination`
    See?

To hack is defined as doing something unordinary to accomplish a task.

I once "opened" my bike lock with a metal saw and a side cutter (unfortunately didn`t have a bolt cutter) because the key broke inside the lock ... took a bloody long time.

Ok, that was retarded. I knew that a long time ago AND it takes way more than 30 seconds AND no one uses a combo lock like that, with only 1296 combinations. LAME video.

    Nice try.

Bah, I used to use a similar trick in high school when I`d forget my locker combination. Not that hard.

Never buying a bicycle lock, though.

I figured this trick out when I was like 10.
Also figured out that only little kids use those kind of locks. On their little kid bikes.
