"The plot to take out Hitler and then all of his loyal officers was called Operation Valkyrie, based on the belief that no plan can fail if it has a cool enough name."

jxl180 Done stole my thought of stealing a line from V for Vendetta. Yeah, bad grammar. Anyways, I read this ages ago, and never thought to submit it, now I`m sad... regardless, The Gunpowder Plot`s probably my favorite, and to be honest I really was not surprised by the Scientology one.

They forgot about the quartering. Guy Fawkes and the others weren`t just hung and drawn, they were quartered too... Not the best way to go.

"Hitler wasn`t nearly as forgiving as his fiery public speeches and penchant for genocide would lead you to believe"
HAHA. Oh god, that made me laugh.

And thanks Guy Fawkes, now I can legally play with fire every November the 5th and no one will look at me like I`m a weirdo :)

I have only heard of the gunpowder plot. What I do know for a fact though is that the world governments are planning to reduce the population of the world by 80%. And that there will only be a few jobs available, working in the war (WW3) and women in amunition factories ect ect.

People are "hanged"
Pictures are "hung"
If a person is "hung," it means something completely different...

"In May of 1604, a group of Britons who were fed up with King James`s rule met with Robert Catesby. As Catholics, they were tired of the Protestant government. In accordance with the teachings of their faith, they apparently decided that the best way to solve their problems was to kill everyone."

I see nothing wrong here, move along.
