Who cares. It`s racist to care about being racist. I only care about violent racism, thats a problem but playful teasing? Get over yourself.

Oh yea, because only white people can be racist. I did NOT see a single anti-white comment on here, even though everyone who is not white, hates white people.
The asswipe who posted this anti-white garbage hates white people and this post was him subliminally announcing that he wishes all white people to be dead.

funny video

this has to be said since it is the truth.

Black/Hispanic Minority culture sucks. It`s ghetto this, thug that, gang shootings, drugs, and mindless gangsta rapping. MIA sucks- very glad that is not a popular group. some wacked up minority wannabe female rapper mouthing off, and gunshots. what a great song. get real.

I`m Black and all I gotta say is:

1. Racism will always be around.

2. Why is it we have to "ignore" another person`s race? What`s so bad about the person`s skin colour that we have to ignore it? When instead we can look at an Asian/Black/White/Indian/Hispanic person etc and say "Yes, you are {insert race} and that is OKAY, I respect that." There is no such thing as a transparent person so we just need to accept and respect the fact that everyone is different instead of overlooking it.

3. By ignoring a person`s skin colour, in a way; you`re saying it`s bad or controversial because typically; humans don`t ignore good things.
We celebrate, discuss and appreciate good things--this is what we should be doing with eachother and all races.

4. M.I.A kicks ass!

5. Have a nice day.

clearsky, so what if they make it out of dog hair? And there was a major documentary on 60 minutes showing that most hispanic and black workers did work in the back.

And its a natural cycle of racism. This is the first time in world history where your at a disadvantage for being a white male. How is me getting a scholarship because of my race any different than Babe Ruth hitting all those homeruns when they didn`t allow blacks or hispanics to play?

primetimekin...i worked at an AE...like a big one in a mall...and we didn`t have mexicans in the back...we didn`t have any mexicans at all (we did have a black kid though)...and fyi sean john has made coats out of dogs hair...

and i don`t like how u think we should perpetuate racism...u don`t deserve more scholarship because of ur skin color

ur basically saying racism is natural...and u deserve money because of it

giving scholarships based on skin color is stupid...because it is saying there are different races and they should be treated differently from one another

i`m sure ur stance is based on cash and not moral outrage...u get free cash...i guess i wouldn`t argue either, but don`t be surprised if ppl treat u different because u get undeserved scholarships

we will always make fun of people unlike us. if only I had a history eraser so that nobody knew about their ancestry. Then no one would feel this uncomfortable tension that we do today. then again I like history to much to give that up.

Maybe we could just take our eyes out so we cant tell if someones a different race or not. Na, that would just suck.

maybe we can just get over it. Grow up a little and stop being rude to eachother entirely. We could be cordial to one another and give eachother the respect they deserve. Na. we can`t do that now can we.

I have many things to say. You have to give a pass to the one who said lynch Tiger. She didn`t mean it like that, she would have said that if woods was white.

To white people, every single race has encountered discrimination, it is just your turn to follow suit. Scholarships for Hispanics and Blacks is just a reaction to the 60s. I know its not your fault but hey, sucks to be you now doesn`t it. If you wore born in the 1800s things would be better for you. (P.S. if I grow 3 more inches I get a scholarship for that too)

EstiloPanama, my problem with A&F is not its marketing to whites. You can say that about MTV, American Idol, and Mayonnaise. Its their racist shirts and the fact that most minority workers they hire work in the back. The same can be said about FUBU but not Apple Bottom or Sean John.

This is not racist, it is prejudice. There is a difference in the words, but no one seems to know that. Very few people are racist, but almost everyone is prejudice. To be racist you have to think a certain race is better than another race in every way. Prejudice is making sterotypes and juding someone by looking at them, which is what almost everyone of those clips were.

Surfingninja, yes it is racist, and I will fully oppose it after I get some scholarships to college simply because I`m Hispanic. (I`m smart too, but the Hispanic thing ensures it.)

Yet FuBu, Apple Bottoms, or Sean John clothing lines do not get sued for only (seemingly) promoting to Black-Americans. I don`t really feel this is fair. I don`t know if this is America`s way of `amending` for the horrible racists acts of our former society not too long ago, but it`s still very unfair. You don`t see a channel gear toward whites, but you do see BET and even a few of those Latino channels. It`s strange how the world works, I guess. But I totally see where you`re coming from.
Racism will never die, and I feel most of us feel at least a tiny bit of resentment toward others of a different background and color, due to experiences, upbringing, and environment, as well as other factors.
But yea, racism will, sadly, never die. As long as there are people, there will be hatred, and with hatred comes lack of acceptance of others who do not think as oneself. And color can have everything to do with it...

SurfingNinja, I totally agree. My husband and I were talking about this last night actually. I was talking to him about how someone mentioned that Obama was being supported by Abercrombie and Fitch. I remembered how A&F got sued for being `racist` in some ways. I also mentioned how it seems to be a company targeted to `white` people. And my husband and I agreed that, legally, there should be nothing wrong with targeting a `white` audience, when BET and FuBu and all things of that nature are targeting Black-Americans. Minorities, especially Black-Americans, have many, many advantages over `white` people...more scholarship opportunities, free college (!), preferential treatment when it comes to promotions, especially in the military. I feel that Black-Americans, as well as `white` Americans, can earn their merits using their intelligence, regardless of skin color.
But what`s weird is that A&F got sued for being `racist` just because they targeted a certain audience...

Globalization is a myth / dream. The closer different peoples grow closer together, the more they get annoyed and realize whey they separated in the first place and start drifting away from each other again. Therefore, gloobalization will never truly happen. Even under a one-world government, there will definitely be discrimination against certain peoples, and don`t be surprised if such discrimination is even government-sponsored.

Whoever it was that`s blaming racism on the south/rednecks is full of crap. ("redneck" does imply "south" because that`s how the term was formed, i.e... people living in the south get sunburned easily, hence "redneck") I`m a minority immigrant in the U.S. and I`ve lived in the South, Midwest, and West coast in the U.S., and of all the places, the most racist is the West coast, which was also the most "liberal". In the South and Midwest, I lived in very "conservative" areas, and there I was treated very well and much better than in the West coast. The majority, if not all, the discrimination I`ve faced were in the West coast.

I demand they take away all those college scholarships specifically for those of a certain race. I`m white, where`s my scholarship? Oh yeah, I don`t get one. I am insulted by this, but no cares, because I`M WHITE.

People talk about "abolishing racism" and seeing everyone as "the same type of people", but these are the same people who will turn around and give a big leg up to certain races, it`s not fair, it`s not right, and it`s racist!

quick_sand8...

Just remember what you wrote:

"And ignore ignorant people... They just like to vent their hatred because something is lacking in themselves... Cause they sure aren`t putting the amount of energy they waste towards something positive....Only if you tune in, give them air time, publicity, do you feed their fire..."

That is awesome advice, and I respect you for it. Just ignore ignorant people. =)

And ignorance is ABOUND everywhere, and a great concentration of it is found on IAB. I am really thankful for the handful of `good` people on this forum. It`s awesome to see glimmer of hopes in a world full of idiots.

I love those rays of sunshine breaking through the darkest clouds. =)

Oh, and: Redneck =/= Southern, Southern =/= Racist, etc etc. My first comment was not meant to be an uber-serious essay detailing the intricacies of American societal stereotypes. I`m just saying...Why get offended over something so obviously without truth, credibility or merit as racism.

Quick_sand, first of all, I am not a `he`. Second of all, if you want to dispel the stereotype that southern people are not all stupid rednecks, you might want to learn grammar and why it is unnecessary to use more than one exclamation point/question mark. That being said, I think it`s safe to say that all white supremacists are rednecks, but that does not mean that all rednecks are white supremacists. If for some reason you thought I meant otherwise, sorry.

Cambriaseyes, stop being so damn one sided. Its all southern white people`s fault. You forget that it was the northern states that started slavery. We just made it fashionable. The northern states had quite a few years of slavery started before it even took roots in the south. The northern states abolished slavery, but we fought for it because we were defending OUR way of life that the north started for us. And, as for as the KKK goes, there are more White Supremecy groups north of the Mason Dixon Line than there ever will be south of it. If you take the population as a whole, there are more crimes done by non-white americans. Take a look at our prison systems and see what demographic is overpopulating them. I am in no way saying that racism is a crime, and i don`t endorse racism done towards other people, but lighten up just a little.

Kmitch 717, for a young person in the 13-17 year range, you have an awesome head on your shoulders. You don`t see that very much these days, unfortunately.

cambriaseyes, do you want to know what the problem with racism is? because the answer is right in the word. HUMANS are a race. It`s called racism because the people who have it classify people of a different background or group as a different `race`, which means they don`t even see them as human! And no, it`s not such a huge deal that people say these things, some of them are slip-ups, but the issue is that they say these things on television, where it hits people all across north america and sends a bad message to the viewers. By `move the hell on` you`re essentially asking us to ignore all of this, to ignore racism and al the horrible things that have happened because of it. I personally think western civilization has already done enough of that, thanks, and that maybe we should pay attention to these problems

cambriaseyes posted a comment, at first I though well kinda how I feel...THEN he says "A bunch of rednecks choose to blame their problems on brown people instead of generations of alcoholism and inbreeding."......ironic how he just labeled a bunch of people into one group!!! I live in the Deep South, and don`t know people like that!!
Racism is never going to end. Hell,it isn`t even between different colors and nationalities...People of their own race treat each other like crap all the time!!! Remember High School "clicks"? One group rules the roost???
People are people and it`s never going to change..All you can do is hopefully teach your children to treat others as you would yourself....
And ignore ignorant people... They just like to vent their hatred because something is lacking in themselves... Cause they sure aren`t putting the amount of energy they waste towards something positive....Only if you tune in, give them air time, publicity, do you feed thei

I don`t understand why people are so offended by racism. If you really do believe that it`s not the race of a person that matters, but their personality/ideals/whatever, then what`s the point of getting your panties all in a bunch over something that doesn`t even matter? Saying `nappy headed hoes` or `nigga` or `ching chong nip nong nong` is not even remotely comparable to the lynchings that went on in the south during reconstruction or Japanese internment camps, or any of the hundreds of examples I could give. Even the KKK, I don`t understand why people care about them. A bunch of rednecks choose to blame their problems on brown people instead of generations of alcoholism and inbreeding. ...So what? Can we please, as a society, move the hell on?
