This is really deep...the newton virus for the Mac. The mac logo is an apple, which is what fell on Sir Issac Newton, who is the one who discovered gravity, which is what this supposed virus replicates...whoa!

doesn`t the newer macs have a built-in motion sensor?

I think i remember a program to mac that used the sensor to make lightsaber noises.

If that sensor can feel change like flipping the make upside down, and not only feel it moving, a program like in the vid is not entirely impossible.

That would be funny for about 10 seconds until you realised that it`s gonna cost you $200 to get your computer fixed.

Unless it uninstalls itself after about 2 minutes of chaos?

Heh, I know whom I would use this on already.

I would really want this, if it were real. Unfortunately, it doesn`t seem to be. The maker, "Troika", claims it`s installable from a special USB key but there doesn`t seem to be a way to order one.

It wouldn`t technically be considered a "virus", anyway. That`s not feasible on a Mac. A Trojan is possible, but the automated installation from a USB key is not.

Anyway...it still looks like a cool app. I could have some fun with it.

FAKE! I have a macbook, no motion sensor needed. And the PS3 only has motion sensor in the control, not the machine itself. This is fake. The best way to prank a Mac user, download Vista on it.

Ok, lets clear this up. The MacBook and MacBook Pro DO have motion sensors. They`re used to prevent damage if you were to drop it i.e stop the HD etc. There`s a program called LiquidMac that makes use of this....quite cool actually. Also VirtueDesktops where you can change your desktop by tapping the side of the screen

How is it outside the realm of possibility? My IBM can tell exactly what angle it`s at so that if I tip it too far quickly the hard drive will stop and prevent breaking. A virus could use that to its advantage like this one.
