I thoguht it was amazing. You can only imagine how long it took them to chreograph(sry can`t spell) and rehears that. It took my church 3 months just to put on a little X-Mas play not even 30 minutes long.

It is very good. It would have been easier with a morbidly obese person at the front, then you could put even more people behind them.

Gorgeous performance. I would love to see it in person.

Ok, and I did laugh at all the "jazz hands" comments, too.

Wow, that takes incredible muscle memory. And the applause at the end seemed way too lukewarm.

this is a representational dance of the 1,000 handed bodhisattva...performed by deaf dancers. they used the vibrations of the loud music as their cue to change hand formations. absolutely amazing, in my opinion.

It`s from Japan, and it`s from a fund-raiser tv show or something. I forgot the details.

No art is meaningless. It sucks that some people are so close-minded about this video.

at some points it looked like a matrix thing wherethe image gets reverbed slowly so it like makes a trail of where it moved if that makes any sense...

Jesus, Hank. Most of what we do is "pointless". Is there any reason why you`re on this site? Probably cos you`re bored. I personally think they had more reason to do that than most people have for doing stuff. They did it amazingly, and I imagine it was some kind of religious thingy (sorry, I`m not up to date on... Religion of any kind). Plus the girl in front was ho-t :)

@HankMagoo

Actually, I think it was supposed to be a representation of a bodhisattva named Kannon. (Bodhisattva = enlightened being in Buddhism.)
The literal translation for "Senju Kannon" is "1000-armed Kannon".

... I can`t believe I signed up just to write this.

I heard that all the performers in this clip are deaf and that it was performed for some sort of fundraiser for disabled people.

Pointless, meaningless art. The performance analogue of those crappy formless sculptures at the airport. A great example of how a lot of practice and skill and imagination doesn`t necessarily amount to anything worthwhile. Utterly stupid.
