alright, so Obama`s a good speaker..

what else do we need in a president?

all we need is someone who we THINK is doing good...not like the government does that much anyways...they do both less and more than most people think they do...the people who rely on them to live need someone who can bulls**t their way through a holocaust, and people who dont give half a dam...well, they dont give half a dam so they dont need anyone specifically at the head of it...they just need someone to call an idiot..

GO GREEN PARTY!!!

"As soon as someone speak about Barak Obama`s accomplishement and what he has done "Let me stop you right there" or, in other words "STFU, dont talk about that... you want us to lose the ellection or what?" typical political tactic."

No, he said "let me stop you right there" to disprove what she was going to say, and he DID. she was going to talk about obama with his student loan thing, but he interrupted to talk about hillary`s. yeah it`s a typical political tactic, but if what she was gonna say didn`t matter, because he disproved it, then it doesn`t matter.

I, for one can`t vote, and if i COULD, i have absolutely no idea if i would vote at all =)

such crappy candidates =(

yeah. my roommate was all for Obama and then after going to a Hillary thing she was all "Vote for Hillary!"

I definitely thought he was going to say drinking the kool-aid meant they like him cos he`s black.

and what flavor is it? that`s right. red.

Yeah, but how many people in the world don`t "drink the Kool-Aid"? It`s not just college students that do, it`s people in every demographic. More people "drink the Kool-Aid" than don`t, as it`s much easier for people to simply listen to a candidate than research them. Because of this, those who have the most Kool-Aid usually win.

Hell, if people actually paid attention to every issue and the views and actions of each candidate there would be more than two parties able to win elections.

Nothing gives Kool Aid a bigger zest in it`s taste then a hardy dose of cyanide!

And I preferred Ron Paul.

ttsec: you`re forgetting that skewed facts also sway the weak minded, like you.

Blah blah blah, voting record, bills passed, etc. What you`re forgetting is that bills hardly ever come alone. There are riders and attachments. So the `facts` you `think` you know need to be taken with a big ass grain of salt.

for example: You want an issue to go through congress, the only problem is, there is a rider on that issue that you despise. So you have to decide, which is more important. You vote. Then dumb asses (like you) look up stuff on the internet where people have selected parts of the bill that are controversial and posted them as `singular facts`
Since apparently you`re all about context, then take it in context before you blabber next time.

maybe you should of gone to college or at least paid attention if you did go. That way your job at the chicken shack might pay a whole dollar more an hour.

"So he`s saying that college kids are too stupid to realize the real issues? At least that`s what it sounds like. You never know when it comes to politics."

That’s exactly what I was going to comment. This guy really annoyed me since he`s generalizing that all college students are stupid and can`t make good decisions. He didn`t let that girl finish what she was trying to say. Its like he was blocking the people there from being able to prove him wrong by showing him they do know about specific issues and things Obama is for.

I hate politics. Theyre so annoying. If people werent corrupt and power hungry, communism would rock.

Well, I don`t want either of them to win.
But what I say doesn`t matter, I can`t vote, which makes every one of my political opinions invalid or `just going based off what her parents think`, which gives the people who can vote the power to simply mock and ignore every comment I make.

& I`ll stop now. I hate my town. :/

Camelnoise, nice quoting me out of context there.

In the earlier paragraph, I clearly stated agreement with candidates on policies as the important voting factor. And also stated in the same paragraph, which you seem to not bother to read, I also stated voting record as an indication of the candidates` policies, because candidates lie all the time, so what they say cannot be trusted, only their actions, which I gave the example of voting record.

Charisma only sways the weak-minded. Unfortunately for the U.S., the majority is weak-minded, and that`s why this country is headed toward the dumps.

ttsec,

"Theres` nothing wrong with charisma, but when your voting is swayed primarily by that, then you must be a pretty shallow person."

Well that was a well thought out explanation...

What should voting be swayed by?? Should it be swayed by the number of bills passed..in other words, the number of lobbyists paying you and the misdirection and dirty politics you have to play in order to do so??

Someone should ask Fast Eddie if the kids were drinking the cool aid in 92 when his candidate`s husband was elected. The youth was huge in that election too if I`m not mistaken.

Drink the Cool aid is a reference to Jim Jones who had his follows committ mass suicide in Guyana in 1978 becuase he said the US Gov`t was gonna come after them. They were gonna come after them becasue they murdered Congressman Leo Ryan because he came to check on family members of his people in his district. It`s a cult thing. Think David Karesh`s fanatatism mixed with the religious fervor/cult status of that polygimist sect in Utah that was make 13year old get married and have babies.

I`m from Pa and I`m in college in Va. Also being a Republican and not caring for either Clinton or Obama, if it came down to it, I have to pick Hillary simply because in my mind, she`s the lesser of two evils.

When you boil it down, even though Hillary is a bi***, Obama ends up worse.

Many people like Obama because he`s got charisma. I`ve confronted my Obama-supporting friends with some facts of Obama`s voting record and stuff he supports, and after seeing the plain hard facts, they found out they actually disagree with Obama more than they agree with him, and realize Obama is just a talking head and not much of a presidential candidate. This just shows you how stupid voters are. They`d vote for anyone who`s a good speaker. Hitler was a good speaker you know, that`s how he got his support.

Theres` nothing wrong with charisma, but when your voting is swayed primarily by that, then you must be a pretty shallow person.

This guy is so full of s**t! Even hillaryclinton.com says that this the tuition bill is something she`s PLANNING to do if elected. IT`S A CAMPAIGN PROMISE, NOT SOMETHING SHE`S ACTUALLY DONE!

Can the Hillary worshipers do anything but spin? She hasn`t done a damn thing for the state of NY since she carpetbagged her way into the senate 8 years ago!

can someone tell what "drinking the Kool-Aid" means???

Look up the Jim Jones cult from the `70s. It means to do something a "leader" tells you to do without questioning his/her motives, blah, blah, blah.

He`s right in a sense. Obama hasn`t really done a whole lot, but that`s not because he doesn`t care, he just hasn`t been a senetor for that long. His not having much experience doesn`t have any effect on the fact that Hillary is a creepy scrote though.
