On the other hand, the article is sweet but it should`ve been more detailed... I wanna know if he SAID anything to the kid or held his hand or touched his arm or whatever...
Now we just need to figure out who can cure AIDS/HIV and other currently incurable conditions, but I suppose we would also need a way to make Chuck Norris cry. However, I don`t see that one ever happing.
it is quite possible to show that prayer has no effect on healing, and im sure it has been demonstrated in the past.. i think the study bekll is referring to is slightly different than she said:
doctors predict 10% of people will recover from this disease, group A is prayed for, group B is not10% of both group A and group B recover
(im not sure of this)
there has never been a demonstrable miracle
Real life to me is what has evidence. God has none so doesn`t apply to reality. It`s that simple. Faith is believing without evidence. I won`t subject myself to that level of irrationality. I have better things to do.

"Answered" prayers were statistically going to happen.
Example: Illness in children at a hospital was predicted by the doctors to kill 9 out of 10. All families prayed. 10 out of 100 kids make it through. Were the families of the 10 kids answered or prayed right or prayed the hardest? Or did prayer have nothing to do with it?

Then again I pity the fool that thinks Mr T is incapable of doing this thing.
