Nirvana is my favorite band. I`ve studied this like crazy, buying into the conspiracy theory. But as I got older, I realized, dude... he was screwed up... he had to have killed himself. His family thinks he did... his friends think he did... his bandmates think he did... Anyone could have seen it coming. Sad though... Great artist, very groundbreaking and influential.

Kurt is our best modern example of what can happen to an artist who becomes a "brand" despite his best intentions. Kurt was extremely complex, and very young, he wasn`t mentally together enough to deal with the questions the POP culture was asking. Listen to his lyrics, he was vulnerable, but his music was hard, he was sexually amibguous, but his fans were rabidly, sexually agressive. Did he pull the trigger himself? I can`t say, but being Kurt the man, and being "Kurt in 1994" were 2 different worlds. If someone DID pull the trigger on him? Your crime is far beyond your value. God bless you Kurt.

This is the link to the private investigator who worked on Cobain`s case. It is a case file, has some audio as well of Courtney being a heartless mean person while hiring the PI to "look" for Kurt.

Also has info on El Duce, the guy Courtney approached offering 50k to off her "old man" because he was being an non-nice individual. In reality because he was going to divorce her cheating ass and also pulled out of the Lalapalooza tour, missing out on a 9.5 million paycheck, which she of course wanted her share of.

Even the "suicide note" is here... it`s also a bit interesting that Courtney owned a book of how to copy someone else`s handwriting... it`s all here.

Download the case file, a PDF, a long read but worth it.

Not to insult the dead, but Nirvana was and still is super overrated. The musicianship is so bland and repetitive. And don`t even tell me the lyrics are meaningful, I mean " Rape me"... man I can really relate to that! I think next to the Rolling Stones they could be one of the most overrated bands of all time.

If you aren`t going to comment on content of the post, then shut the hell up.

If you delve just a tiny bit deeper you would find meaning in the lyrics.
yes. even in the pooty ass rolling stones.

But if you`re going to comment on a post about Kurt`s death, dont diss him.
that`s just stupid.

Oh, here we go.

If we can`t bear to lose a celebrity, etc. that we ruined with too much attention, it must`ve been a murder or a conspiracy...

I mean, for feck`s sake!!

my band had battle of the bands on the 5th, and we are heavily influenced by nirvana, so we decided to dedicate a song to him, it doesn`t matter whether it was suicide or homicide, but nevertheless, a great man`s life was cut short.

"I agree. The only reason he has the attention now is because he died at the peak of his career. If it he didn`t die, he would have just faded away like alot of musicians do."

but as Kurt said, it`s better to burn out than fade away.

and didn`t he die on the 14th?

I wouldn`t call the Stones or Nirvana overrated, they are both great bands. But at the same time, I still like NOFX. They`re not GREAT, but I still like them.

I still agree with aaroncoal`s second post, though.

Repetitive.. yes. But they changed the face of Rock n Roll in a short time. They are the Beatles of the 90`s. It`s a garage band making history, It doesn`t come along very often.

*At the end of the video; I am NOT referring to MYSELF as a heartless douche who deserved to die, I`m talking about the guy at the end of the video.

If you agree with my previous post`s logic and think I`m the douche... well, that`s your problem, see ya in hell! (JK)

If they find the man who shot Kurt, I will personally hunt him down and kill him myself. Although, this might be just another one of those "fake conspiracy things".

Anyway, RIP KURT!

Well, suicide or not im somewhat happy nirvana ended when it did. Some people say it changed the face of music etc etc. well even if it did, the band itself i really dont like much, but whatever.

Ill respect the affect the band had, if not the bad itself, or any of its members, or their stupid stupid drugged up ways, or every song that ever came out by them....

yeah ill just respect thir influence. After all they did end up sparking some real talent after all so it wasnt all good, even if the talent was not from their band but the ones they inspired

Wow...you morons that actually believe that he was not capable of holding a gun with the lethal amount of heorin in his blood are wrong. He was a vetern junkie. This was not his first OD. His body could handle more heroin.

Plus...
Kurt was suicidal from the beginning. His art and his music lyrics make that very clear.

Unlike most of you little tweeners who believe the conspiracy, I was there. I remember the music...I was older then 8 when it happened.
I refuse to listen to little children who aren`t old enough to even remember 1994.

He committed suicide. period.

"OK, everyone hating needs to just stop. I don`t care if you hate Kurt. I don`t care if you hate Nirvana or grunge in general, but have a little respect for a dead man. It doesn`t matter who you are or how stupid you think someone is; you have no right to disrespect the deceased. Fact: Nirvana changed the face of music. Yes, Kurt committed suicide and there will always be those who question it. Fact: if Kurt had lived who knows how he might have turned out. Novoselic turned out perfectly normal and is a very intelligent man who does side work for a small radio show (speaking from personal experience, as I live near him.) RIP Kurt."

[email protected] signature theory.
they found drugs in his system during the autopsy.
i don`t think his signature would be perfect if he was intoxicated.

he wasn`t a junkie. a definiton of a junkie is someone who gives their whole life away to heroin or other seriosly harmful drugs. he was still planning on doing more musical things, and talked to micheal stripe, from r.e.m., and his child`s godfather, about doing a joint projeckt. on the subject of him being drugged by someone else, he probably was high when he killed himself, and then injected his supply of drugs to finish it off, and killed himself before it came into affect. also, signatures are written much diffrently than writing your name to a loved one, in famous last words. let him be

I couldn`t help but laugh out loud when the show host said "he committed suicide....OR DID HE?". As with all other cheesey "Informational" shows like this, there`s probably a lot more information that they chose not to share with us that would definately prove it a suicide.

Your an idiot, the reason he gets so much attention is not because he died at the peak of his career, its because he completely changed the whole music genra. Before Nirvana most popular music was by old school crappy 80`s bands with big hair and spandex. Arosmith. Poison, Bon Jovi, Montly Crue ext. Kurt and Nirvana changed all that and pretty much made music what it is today. THATS why everyone felt bad when "this dude died" Atomicskier9....

"If it he didn`t die, he would have just faded away like alot of musicians do".

Cant say I`m so sure of that. It`s certainly a possibility, but then I think that the Foo Fighters are made of win...It could just as easily been Nirvana pumping out those songs.

Eitherway, he`s dead, he`s not coming back and he has his part in history, like it or not!

Courtney did it... even if she didn`t actually pull the trigger, it was that bitch`s idea for him to buy the gun.

Her career went nowhere because she "killed" him. He would`ve been the coattail she needed and she destroyed her own chance.

despise...

Just an Idea: He could have written the note while high, bu not high enough that he couldn`t write it, and took more dope after. Chances are your writing won`t be like your usual writing when doped up. Like alcoholics need more beer to get themselves drunk as opposed to someone who rarely drinks, he may have had more control than others under whatever amount of dope they found in him.

"anyone else think its strange that they say he was too doped up to operate a gun, but was still able to write a suicide note?

if you ask me, it`s much easier to use a gun than to write your final goodbye. and of course his signature was different than normal. he was on drugs."

Sure, emotionally it`s harder to write a note saying goodbye to the world, but they mean more along the lines that the shotgun was about as tall as he was, when set up to point upwards form the ground, and its weight. Sure, if he was sober he might have been able to prop it up, but on drugs, who knows?

"But look on the bright side, if it wasn`t for Kurt dying, we might of never gotten the Foo Fighters."

David Grohl was already writing songs and recording tracks that would later be Foo Fighter songs in 1992-1995. It was only in 1995 that he hired other band members to makeit an official band. But that`s besides the point; You can`t say that all drug junkies need to die. That`s a form of fascism and what if they had just gone through several horrifying traumatic experiences(for example, Kurt had disowned himself from his family for how they had treated him, and he was homeless in his teenage life, living on streets and under bridges) and needed something to take them away from it. Don`t tell me that you would have been man/woman enough to just deal with it. YOu don`t know, you haven`t been through it.

all that conflicting evidence does make it look allot like a murder.

Kurt Cobain is my hero no matter what n/e one else says about him. He was doing his music to show his feelings and leave a message, not for the fame. People made Nirvana a commercialized band and he didn`t like it. RIP Kurt

i did a persuasive essay on kurt`s death, trying to convince that it was a murder.
i made an A+ on it.

there were no fingerprints on the gun.
also consider el duce, the man who came forward and told the public how courtney hired him to kill kurt.

8 days later, he was hit by a train.
coincidence?
