Submitted by: SaintPatty 9 years ago in

Not just any tattoo--a corporate tattoo--all for 10K per year. Watch him actually get it too.

Definitely fake. If you have tattoos or have watched an episode of Miami Ink (or any other tattoo show), you would know that a tattoo artist would NEVER tattoo someone sitting up with their arms reach 3 feet away from them. That was the blatant give away for me.

I saw something about that a while ago, talking about how soon ads will be ever instead of just billboards. Like on peoples bodies.

This was prophesized before the internet, folks.

Depressing.

No tattoo artist worth her/his weight in gold would ever agree to inking a corporate logo on your forehead. Just because you`re stupid enough to want it, doesn`t mean they have to agree to do it.

I`m suprised noone else noticed that you dont get 5k a year, that amount is a one off payment. You only get 20% of the original amount each year you go for a check up.
5k is a huge rip off for one of payment for permantly ruining yourself. That amount wouldnt even buy you a new car!

I think it`s immoral for a company to even offer money to people for tattoo advertising.

Whoever owns goldenpalace.com should be shot in the head for doing things like this. They won an auction so they could choose the name of the auctioneer`s baby, and called it goldenpalace.com. I hope that poor kid gets a name-change as soon as possible.

Could be real, could be fake. This does exist though, many people have done this. Raise the amount and I will do it. Preferably with nike though

Nice until the company goes out of business. I wonder if it`s a fixed amount? Then in 20 years the paycheck will be probably be equivelent to $300 per year.

This could be real but there`s two reasons that make me think otherwise. One, the tattoo machine looks strange to me, they`re normally a lot bulkier then that. Second, every tattoo i`ve gotten my skin has turned beet red and puffed from the irritation, i think must peoples do, you would think the same think would happen to your forehead. Guess will never know, o well

Does it account for inflation?

Seeing the potential, some company will make it real sooner or later. As long as both parties agree to it, I don`t think it`s against the law or anything.

Some time in the future, tattoo removal will be feasible and affordable, who knows.

Oh boy! I have tatoos but I would never ever think of tatooing a logo, let alone on my forehead and definitely not of a company which advertise with their website url as a logo. This guy wants to be different... well he is. Now he is the dorkiest guy in the world. He`s going to look fine if the advertised company goes out of business. Anyone wants an Enron logo on their asses for this summer?

Hey, if you really need the money then it doesnt matter what`s on your forehead. I would never do that but I can tell you that if I was just a lazy ass bum on the street, I would definitely jump on that opportunity.

Let`s just say this is real. I wonder if there are stipulations. Can I hide it with a hat? If not can I just be anti-social and never leave the house? I can live on 10k a year without a job. Hell I live on less than that /with/ a job.

this is real....old. A few years ago a kid auctioned off advertising space on his head, and was followed by heaps of other people looking to do the same thing. It was apparantly a big enough fad for a while for someone to actually create the "forehead ad blocker" a pair of glasses with a folding pice of black plastic that prevents the wearer from seeing other people`s foreheads.

What does it matter? So he got a permanent tattoo, and it will never come off. Whoop-de-doo. This is $10k per year we`re talking about. For a student fresh out of college, that`s an extra 1/4 of his income in many jobs. He probably needs the money, and it`s not anything terrible- a little bit of hair will cover it up.
