Was that the animator of the Clerks cartoon? It looked like exactly the same style

"I loved how the guys name was Christian."

I thought that was insanely excessive and stereotypical.

As far as gay goes, Have at it, i say.

I don`t even see it as an issue anymore. Let homosexuals get married, for god`s sake, it`s not a big deal.

Okay, that theory about the female body "feminizing" the male fetus is questionable. What about only children? Why don`t gay men have feminine statures and faces? How the heck are lesbians made?
Yeah, I agree that it`s not a choice, but c`mon. This theory has so many holes in it that it could be swiss cheese. Mmmm, cheese.

The Christian character was excessive. Not all Christians are against homosexuals, and wish to be treated fairly, without bias.

Once again, IAB`s true agenda shines through in all its Christian-hating glory.

Some people choose it and some are born it. A woman might become a lesbian because she was raped as a little kid, as happened with one of my friends. But there are people like my uncle who are just gay and have always been gay. Of course there are the idiots who think its cool to be gay or bi and change just to fit in. -_- (I would say the same about a gay person who was born gay and change to being straight just to fit in)

It`s not IAB, it`s the video. IAB doesn`t constantly post all anti-Christian stuff.
Sidenote: Anti WBC things are not anti-Christian, considering they are the lowest and most disgusting form of religion on the planet.

I won`t openly deny what they say, but I think psychic trauma and upbringing must play some role somewhere.

And even if it is a "choice" theres nothing wrong with prefering a little bung as a substitute forsome vag.

xParanoia, someone chooses the content that goes up on this site. And that entity, whatever it may be, chooses a lot of anti-Christian stuff.

Not all the time, I agree. But a good portion of IAB content is anti-Christian, you must admit.

And I agree. Anti-WBC content is excluded from the "anti-Christian" category.

"With the possible exception of the Bob Jones University..." lol.

From what I learned in Intro to Psych (a couple of years ago, so my info/memory might not be right anymore), a lot of the research is less conclusive than the video states. Still, it`s probably good that the research is being done since the gay/straight issue is such a hot topic right now.

Incidentally, regarding "Christian": Some Christians do discriminate against gay people, but not all do. And some of the "branches" of Christianity that are commonly accused of discrimination don`t actually condemn BEING gay, they just condemn being in a gay relationship.

IT IS A choice. You are born with a penis, what do you have to say about that? Nature is wrong? If nature is wrong, and you were "born gay" then how do we know nature wasn`t wrong that time.
It`s not. You have a penis, hair on your back, a manly voice. ACT LIKE A MAN, or go kill yourself for being such a queer.

I belive that its a nature/upbringing thing. I hate to cut it to the Freudians but I dont belive that crap about the whole "penis envy". If you want to love the same sex, then I say go for it. I know a guy that I work with who belives 100% that its a mental thing and they should suffer shock therapys and thing of that nature to rid themselfs of those feelings. However, if you have ever met the guy, you can tell he is far from well ajusted and cant get any weather he is gay or straight...

Whoever said I was Christian? Because I mentioned a god?
I don`t believe in god, but if there was one, I`d want him to kill gays. God is just a figure of speech. You know, like gays say "oh my god" a lot, when they know they`ll burn to ashes when they step into a church.

    "WRONG!
i know more atheist "homophobes" than i do Christian "homophobes"."

    1. You`re the rare exception. The proportional majority of such people are Christian rather than atheist, since Christianity is anti-gay to the point where the Bible requires execution of any homosexual.

    2. You make very little impact when your spelling and grammar appear like a young child flailing on the keyboard.

    3. Homophobe is an idiotic word, since its translation from Latin means `afraid of people like you`. So, the only way homophobe can mean anti-gay is if you`re gay. Funny that?

    1. I never said gays are retarded any more than I said that one race is retarded. It`s simply a genetic change from the normality. Your idea that nature couldn`t possibly screw up is just idiotic.

    2. You really think that people who aren`t Aryan-perfect shouldn`t be allowed to have a family?

"when they know they`ll burn to ashes when they step into a church."

I think your credibility just evaporated. I`m a fervent atheist, and rest assured I have entered many churches in my life. I also have an openly homosexual relative who has been in church as well. No pyrotechnics as of yet.

I thought it was funny that his name was Christian because the gay guy in Clueless is called Christian...

Religious debates. Shoot me. I`m so over them. My spiritual side is with Christianity. And I know people who are gay and Christian. Just because the church is against gay marriage doesn`t mean they are against gay people! The bible says that marriage is for men and women so that they can have children and start their own family. The bible also says that sex with someone who you aren`t married to is wrong. So I believe that homosexuals shouldn`t be in sexual relationships with each other in just the same way that I don`t believe people should be in a sexual relationship until they have made a lifelong commitment to each other.

I know most people will disagree but it`s another point of view you can think about. Whatever. Just love everyone and stop hating on people because of their sexual orientation.

    1. Christians are anti-gay but the whole execution of homosexuals is
    a. meant to show that it is detestable
    b. In levictus so it is no longer followed.

I have a friend whom both of his parents are doctors and he says according to a study (cant remember which) the percentage of people who are genetically gay is actually very small. Peoples action are made up of genetics/environment/choice. For example, genetics may tell me im right handed but i can train myself to be left handed (I know several people that have made the switch).

Also, I question the scientific data as far as younger brothers having an increased chance of being gay. In my family normally its the younger of the brothers that ends up being the most heterosexual.

    I wasn`t always gay...
    but it just happened.
It certainly wasn`t a choice, but I wasn`t like that always. Considering I haven`t done much research, this mean close to nothing but I believe that people are born with their brains "knowing" whether they`re going to be/become gay or not. People arne`t always BORN gay, but they certainlly don`t choose if or when they become gay. If that makes any sense at all.

Homosexuality is a developmental/genetic disability. What could possibly be worse for an organism then a disablity that causes that organism to not reproduce? Having said that, there have been studies it`s not really exactly a choice. Certain areas near the hypothalamus have been shown to be enlarged in many homosexuals. There has also been signifigant mounting evidence that there is a genetic component to the disorder.

So it is both a biological & nuture disorder. Although it is avoided in the scientific world as viewed as a "disorder" it technically is, as it reduces greatly the chanch of producing offspring.

So is being homosexual "wrong"? No. Because morals are a mix of both atheistic universal principles and religious principles, those who value religous principles more strongly generally view homosexuality as "immoral". As far as nature is concerned, there is only life and death.

If everyone in the world was gay, how would we reproduce?

Did you even read my comment? That was exactly what I was saying. I have absolutely nothing wrong with someone being gay. Nor does the church. The church accepts anyone who is gay. Heck, there is a gay arch bishop in Australia. My point was that the bible says many many times not to commit adultery. You should not have sex with someone who isn`t your wife or husband. And homosexual people can`t get married so therefore they shouldn`t be having sex. It`s quite understandable for the bible to say that then.

Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:18-19

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." Matthew 5:17

"Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." 2 Peter 20-21

Yeah. Seems pretty clear to me. The old laws are still every bit in effect, and no line of scripture is up to interpretation. Jesus himself says so.

    Haha, catbarf I love you.

Noticed he didn`t type anything else that you were 14 because he felt ashamed to be talked down so intelegently by a 14 year old.

Now I have a very stong feeling on this subject because I Live in texas, where almost EVERYBODY abso-drating-lutly hates gays. and I don`t. Now i just get into debates if you hate gays, but when you want to take away there freedom because a very old book filled with flaws and hatred says so? No, I get pissed. I would love to show this video to one of my classmates.

Now I am an aithest, which may block my views of teh christians view, but in all honesty. I Wasn`t always aithest. Even then I had the same thoughts as I do now. It just really upsets me to see someone blame, hate, and ruthlessly be against for something they can`t controle most of the time. In my opinion, it`s the downfall of mankind as we know it :(

Very true. However, it`s entirely possible that there are less gays now than there ever were, since in older times gays were forced into being straight and raising families, passing on those genes.

There is increased population because people don`t die as much cause of bloody hospitals. Everyone used to have 10 kids but 8 of them would die before they turned 20.

And if the bible says someone should be killed it is referring to an unrepresentative person going to hell. The bible says many times that man shouldn`t judge, only God so we have no right to put someone to death.

theres good arguements for both,it could well be a genetic "defect(was forced to use for lack of other words though it isnt my opinion)" but also it could have alot to do with society, media and upbringing and environment.Personally i believe that both are possible and exist.

I personally think, as I`ve stated before, that it`s a combination of (largely) environmental factors, and genetics.
Though these are my opinions and only semi-researched. I`m not a psychologist, nor have I done studies on homosexuality.

I know I`m dodging the question here, but it doesn`t matter what the cause is. If its a choice, then the will be discriminated for making the choice...if its not a choice, then they will be discriminated against for being born that way.

Alright, I`m just going to say this and then leave. You all can take what you want from it, or not.

If homosexuality was a choice, I`d be straight.
As simple as that. When I was younger I was afraid I was going to lose all my friends, have my parents abandon me, and possibly be murdered if I was caught around the wrong person. For the life of my I can`t understand why someone would think anyone would want to choose that for themselves.

I`m happy with who I am, but trust me, if I had a choice to be straight right now I`d take it. My life hasn`t exactly been easy.

But I gave up a long time ago trying to prove myself to people who never seem to want to listen.
You can waste your breath telling me that what I`m doing is wrong, and I`ll save my breath to enjoy life.

(Sorry I wasn`t my normal joking self there, but I felt I had to be serious for a moment.)

Painting homosexuality as "natural" helps other people understand it and accept it more, thus reducing hate and bigotry.

Therefore, understanding the true underlying cause is crucial to the advancement of the homosexual population, because it shows homosexuality in a better light.

pardon me for making a cliche reference, but being Jewish is completely natural (I`d hope no one disagrees with that) and it didn`t/doesn`t stop them from being discriminated against.

While homosexuality isn`t new, open homosexuality is new, and it`s new to the public eye. I think that it`s going to be awhile until researchers uncover the underlying cause. After all, they`ve only had (being generous, here) 50 years to work on it.

I think I misspoke. What I meant by painting homosexuality as "natural" I meant more in the sense of beyond human intervention.

Red hair is natural. It`s encoded in your genes, and you cannot stop the fact that you will be a redhead.

Same with homosexuality. If researchers can find a genetic link or biological link, it can be percieved as `natural`. It`s encoded in your genes and you cannot stop the fact that you will be homosexual.

A little off topic, but politicians know the value of hatred so well, that they have us all fooled. (In America at least).

I personally know people who have fallen for their great deception and actually voted for candidate solely based on their pro-life and anti-gay stance.

Those issues, pro-life, anti-gay, etc. are big shiny red herrings that blind a vast population of American voters.

Someone might ostracize me for this, but oh well...

I am straight, and I consider myself a Christian (on deeper inspection, you`d probably call me an agnostic, but I still belive most of the basic beliefs of Christianity) and I am homophobic. They creep me out. There`s no reason for it either, its a phobia, an irrational fear. I can not say I definitely know what brought this phobia about (whether that is a product of being raised Christian and/or something else).
I do not agree with homosexuality, and I do think it is a choice, though you could probably convinve me otherwise. However, I try to not let my beliefs or my phobia keep me from seeing gay people as human beings. I still converse with gay people, and even have a gay friend or two. I do not think that being gay or straight should affect how someone thinks of you or treats you. I would say its your God-given right to choose what you do with your life, and no person should judge you of it.

I`m gay. Didn`t choose it, and believe me, tried to `be straight` a lot, but why live in denial just because of what other people think?

Cefca and Wey_Pooh seem to be seriously over compensating with their arguements, perhaps they`re in denial themselves?

Regarding the bible... Im Agnostic, but I believe it teaches that above everything, love is most important, whether for who you choose to love, or when being accepting of others choices that may not be the same as yours.

LOL @ proving nothing. Just because you didn`t think of it to yourself, does not mean you can`t choose to do it.

homosexuality: of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex

sexual orientation: The direction of one`s sexual interest toward members of the same, opposite, or both sexes, especially a direction seen to be dictated by physiologic rather than sociologic forces.

with the problems they have to face in this world, i think they`d choose to be straight if they did have a choice. being constantly discriminated and outlawed isn`t something we all exactly want in our lives, who`s to say they really want to live like that?

ugh. this reminds me ofa conversation with my friend today.. we were talking about gay people, and she thinks its wrong for people to be gay. she said it`s
"wrong" I mean WTF you do worse things you don`t even believe in evolution even though it`s proven. She springs that "it`s a theory" thing on me even though "theory" is a scientific word that pretty much means proven.

    Gravity is a theory.

I don`t see why Gay people can`t do what they want and be gay. I know tons of gay people and they aren`t hurting anyone by being gay.

I mean, if you`re going to listen to christianity if people cna be gay, what will stop them from keeping people from being atheist?

i don`t see why it matters if it`s a choice or not. if people are gay and that`s who they are and they`re happy, then let them go out and be gay and be married and adopt a kid and raise a family like everybody else, because America is based on the freedom to pursue happiness and if being gay makes somebody happy then go ahead.

To all the christians out there who are putting down gay people... (and i read this somewhere so don`t hold me accountable--but i believe its true.)
If God created everything in his image, then how is there anything wrong with being gay? God might just be a little gay Himself. Oh, and btw, God is quite genderless.
And if i see anymore people quoting the Old Testament, then they should also look at the treatment of women there too!
I`m a woman and I would hate to have to be seperated from the rest of society while on my period, a natural God-made process, becuase for some reason men thought it was unclean.
And to all those complaining about it being a religious debate now. Is anything ever not a religious debate? When, as humans, do we not debate the moral and ethical standpoints on an issue?

Okasen, I don`t know why you quoted my post but then talk about absolutely irrelevant crap. Did you see even an ounce of judgement on my part?

There`s simply a difference between being attracted to the same sex and acting on it, which to me draws the line between sexual orientation and homosexuality. Kind of the same way you may be genetically predisposed to be skinny but choose to bulk up to an enormous size. Do you see saying that it`s wrong to be skinny, or saying that everyone must be a huge hunk?

It`s simply a choice to have sex with same sex people. Same as not having sex at all is a choice or having heterosexual sex. Sexual orientation is just a part of the factors that contribute to the decision to engage in any of those activities.

And for the people ranting about how `gay people go to hell`, they don`t go to hell because they`re gay, but because they`re not Christian (most of them). Yeah, just wanted to say that, because a lot of people seem to think being gay is a one-way ticket to hell or something.

You have a free will. It`s a choice. The idea that they say "You have no choice" is bull poo.

Right now? I can choose to be gay, straight, or bi. Look at that, how freaking easy.

There`s obviously mental conditioning to choosing sexual preference. For example, if your parents are douche bags enough to send you to an all-boy school. You just might turn GAY cause when you become a teen and you get horny, all you have surrounding you are other freaking boys.

I read this somewhere and I don`t remember where, so I can`t be 100% sure, but on the subject of genetics and reproduction: the sisters of gay men are more fertile than other women, which would keep the gay-gene, if there is one, in existence. This means it`s not a `disorder` because it stops reproduction (because it actually doesn`t).
Also, if (in the early days) in a group of people everyone had children, this would be a problem, because the parents would not be able to provide for everyone. By having people not have children (and the safest way for that is by men not having sex with women), there are extra helpers who do provide food, but don`t bring extra mouths to feed. If viewed that way, homosexuality is an ingenious way to ensure the survival of a group.

Anyway, whether you act on your feelings or not is a choice, I agree, but in my opinion there`s noting wrong with acting on them, so by all means, choose to marry the same gender!

People are people, If someone choses to hate homosexuals that is his choice, and if a perfectly straight male feels that he ought to make coitus with men. Then by all means both parties should get to it. truth isn`t truth, whatever you decide as your own personal truth is just that, your own personal truth. No one is right or wrong.

I grew up in a typical Christian family, with a dad and a mom and a little brother. He and my mother had a very loving 21 year relationship, never any huge fights, and they always went out on dates and stuff. Two years ago, I learned that my dad had been molested when he was younger, and that now, he says he is gay. I don`t hate him for it. I just beleive that Satan has warped his mind into beleiving he is this way, because he probably never dealed with his childhood trauma. But the only reason I think this is because he also, for reasons unknown, has not continued to be a father me and my brother. He suddenly just left. I don`t think being gay would make you want to never speak to you children again. Especially since we never said anything negative about it to him.

    My $0.02:

I`m not sure why, but there`s an assumption in this kind of discussion (can you call it that here? more like cacophony) that heterosexuality is the "default setting," and anything else on the sexual spectrum is somehow an aberration. It`s like saying all color is red, and anything blue or green belongs to the category "not red."

Also how can you explain animals like gorillas being gay. This is from the film "For the bible tells me so.." and NO it`s not anti-Christian the film was made to show conservatives a different idea of how the scriptures are read. That homosexuals aren`t sinful and going to hell.. I loved it...I`m a Christian and it didn`t offend me one bit...It was good to see there are other people out there that share my belief.

What is the problem with it being a choice anyway? To suggest there is one would just be to say that it is bad. And I think it is NOT genetic, but environmental. (Though not neccessarrily a choice)

People automatically assume that heterosexuality is the "default" setting because most people are hetero. They sometimes get confused as to how to act to a gay person, and treat them differently, even when they mean no harm and want to come across as gay - tolerant.Im not gay, but I`ve a gay friend and I treat him like any other person.

I think it`s very unfair how so many videos on IAB portrey christians as morons who know nothing about science and reject anything that has anything to do with science. If someone were to post a video that mocked jews, islamics or buddists it would be racist or innapropriate....but its ok to make fun of christians. I`m a christian and personally i`m not sure how i stand on the issue of homosexuality. But even if i was totally against it i still think that people should have every right to be gay if they want to. I`m not going to stop them. I just wish that people would stop and give christians the same right as they give every other group. The right to believe what they want and be respected for it.

"Right now? I can choose to be gay, straight, or bi. Look at that, how freaking easy."
BigWAFuu, you can SAY you`re gay, straight or bi - but that won`t MAKE you any of them!

Sexual orientation is about ATTRACTION. You can`t choose who or what sex you`re attracted to any more than you can choose your likes and dislikes in food.

Just so you know, humans can`t be hermaphrodites. The correct term is "intersexed".

Wrong, Bekll. Humans can be hermaphrodites. The term `intersexed` is relatively new, and it`s not commonplace. Hermaphrodite is still perfectly acceptable to describe humans. Especially considering the origins of the term were to describe a human (Hermaphroditus, in greek mythology). Check your facts before trying to seem smart, please and thanks.

    its not a drating choice!
well some people decide that they want to...but most people (im pretty sure) are born with it...or something happens to them that makes them attracted more to the same sex, or dislike the opposite sex more...

Just to let you all know that the laws in Leviticus were written for the Jewish people since Christians didn`t exist when those laws were written

But yeah I think being gay is not a choice..it`s something I don`t really agree with but the homosexual didn`t choose to be that way

well alot of christians (at least here in the south) are that way in which they reject science. They use the bible to say what is right and wrong instead of common sense, as if they can`t think for themself.

I hate faggots. Gays, however, are great. As long as they`re not highlighted-hair "FABU-LUSSSS" gay, then they`re fine by me. Anyway...

Being Gay is not a choice. And rarely is someone born gay. Since gays can`t reproduce (Well, they CAN, but not with who they want), their genes stay put. Only straight people produce the next generation, and their straight genes pass onto their kids. However, somethimes there`s a recessive gay gene that becomes dominant. Following me so far? While some people are truly born gay, the majority probably are not. They probably have a neutral gene. Their sexuality is determined by their environment, and they develop their sexuality the same way that the rest of us develop a fetish (Most people are probably like this). If you don`t accept that, then ask yourself this: Why would someone choose to be gay?
Sexuality is a fetish. Straightness is a very common fetish, gayness is a less common fetish. Once you develop your sexuality, you can`t chang

Homosexuality is observed in more than 1500 other species, primate and non-primate alike. And there`s weirder things in nature than being gay...like frogs who change gender to curb overpopulation. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
Prior to the Christianization of Rome and everywhere outside of Judaia, forms of homosexuality were actualy looked highly upon, sometimes deified. Rome, China, India, Japan, Northern Europe, and Egypt were all accepting of it. The first historical evidence of a gay couple comes from ancient Egypt.
In the end, IT DOESN`T MATTER if it`s a choice or not. Even if it IS a choice, it is not a choice that is harming themselves or anyone else, outside the SUPPOSED spiritual harm. But, without religious bias, there is NO argument against homosexuality.
BTW, the narrator was not the regular movie announcer, but Ben Patrick Johnson, who does movie trailers but is also a mega muscled gay hotti
