I`m sure no one really cares... but i have to say this. I hate the fact that, even when someone of a different race than me is annoying, im automatically racist. Maybe the guy is just really freaking annoying? I think some of my white friends are annoying too.... im just sayin..

for those who say they couldn`t tell the difference between the races maybe its because the children in it (and the people who watch the advert) are from countries reasonably close together and therefore no the difference more than some of us in the west- you could probably compare it to me (someone in the UK) having difficulty differetiating between a US and Canadian accent of something

"But...we`re intelligent apes, so we don`t have to do it. It makes sense for small tribes of roaming apes, fighting for scarce resources. It doesn`t make sense for huge numbers of humans living in societies to get worked up about varying degrees of suntan and miniscule differences in appearance. It`s like throwing poo when you`re angry - sure, other apes do it, but we don`t have to."

Lol angillion, Planet of the Apes reference?

Somebody said, at one point, that racism is the fault of the racist only. Yea, maybe in the start, but as it escalates, some people on the recieving feel that they must attack the racist, and that justifies his crime.

The saddest part is some of the kids in our school march around going,"Asian Pride" when like 3 or 4 of them are like White. And i mean like British white, not certain asian countries white.

Caprikorn28, you are SO correct in what you wrote....

Not everyone wanted the war. Just because some idiot is `supposed` to represent us as a whole does not mean we all condone the actions that he/they allowed. I appreciate/support the troops. I love the Airmen in my family (brother and husband), as well as my father (retired Army), and totally respect the military as a whole. But I do not respect and will never accept this war as being something `good`, especially when there is evidence that personal events, greed, and money were involved in the war, not `weapons of mass destruction.`

"Oh, we`re there to build a democracy and liberate the people, woo hoo!"

Yea, f*cking right. Only a lost, blind sheep would believe that load of crap.

But yea, I can see how easy it is for those from another country to group all Americans in one `cup`, when most Americans do the same to Muslims and those of other religious/personal beliefs.

Ajikan, you talk like ALL of America decided to send itself into Iraq. Not everyone condones the fighting that`s been going on.

So if you could keep your thoughts to the people who unfortunately lead the countries, that would be great. I don`t think the phrasing "you Americans" was perhaps a good way to go.

Though I will say that this country is f*cked up, I don`t appreciate it when people from other countries group EVERY American in the general idea that its full of complete a$$holes.

I don`t think that every child is "color blind" and that every adult isn`t "color blind". People on here are saying that they didn`t realize that they were different races when they clearly are..I can tell that they are at least

I thought the little kids in the video were too cute

I love how kids think in simple ways. He likes someone, end of story. Not he has to keep his feelings a secret cuz his parents/peers would not approve. Its great and I agree, lets keep it that way.

For those who didn`t know, they are Singaporean (or Malaysian). One is Chinese and the other is Malay, hence the color blindness, because they are of different race.

ttsec, are you being sarcastic? If not, wow...maybe in Compton, or the hood. I`d imagine then you`d feel like how I did when I was in Alabama for a summer, lol.

Just think of it like that...everything`s conditional.

Good point, Angillon.

confuzedkid. I understand what you mean by that. It`s quite alright. Honestly, if it really bothers you, why don`t you talk to us? Maybe the more you talk to black people or get to know, the less you will feel that way.

You shouldn`t feel bad :-)

I love you! No worries, my friend.

"I beg to differ about the whole people are raised to be racist. If people are raised that way, has humanity always been racist? Or was it something someone, somewhere developed naturally."

Humans are apes. Apes of different groups generally clash to some extent if they meet. The wholly artificial construction called "race" is based on visible differences, i.e. easy identification of not being in the same group of apes.

It`s an ape thing, and humans are apes.

But...we`re intelligent apes, so we don`t have to do it. It makes sense for small tribes of roaming apes, fighting for scarce resources. It doesn`t make sense for huge numbers of humans living in societies to get worked up about varying degrees of suntan and miniscule differences in appearance. It`s like throwing poo when you`re angry - sure, other apes do it, but we don`t have to.

If you want your children to grow up to be normal and/or civilized people, you need to teach them to be afraid of blacks.

When I was young and naive, no body taught me that black people are dangerous, and my first run-in with their kind in my childhood was very traumatizing in every way.

Don`t let your children learn the hard way.

Around blacks, never relax!

That was pretty ballsy confuzedkid. Maybe it`s not that you don`t like them, maybe you`re just intimidated? Everytime it happens just try telling yourself "This isn`t ok. I don`t know this person, so I can`t possibley dislike them." If you actually witness someones actions and decide you don`t like them it`s fine, but you just have to tell yourself the truth...Or something...

i just wanna say- i am racist (only toward black people- no offense please)
i do not know why and i do not know since when, but everytime i see a black person i juts immidiatly dont like them.
i dont find it acceptable to be racist, its just wrong.
i dont know where im going with this- i was hoping to lead off somehow into "homosexuality is not a choice" but i guess ill say

racism is not a choice.

Wow. I was expecting him to answer the "why wouldnt she like you?" question with "cause i got buck teef!" As someone said before, he IS like a mini-geek!
I must say, child didn`t annoy me alot despite the fact I could barely understand him and the whole thing was a rather good message. Had to pause it to really look at the girl though, didn`t catch it the first time. I`m thinking she`s Indian, as someone pointed out before.
I never usually notice someone`s ethnicity at first unless it`s really prominant...it`s when I feel curious that I really delve into their background. I amused my friend once because I could tell the difference between a Polynesian and an asian....

Racism is often, not always, there for a reason.
To diffrent cultures does not mix, thats a known fact.
And from the culture clash comes violence, fom violence generall distrust, and that forms racism.
In a perfect world there cant be radically diffrent cultures.
The way it is now, we should just let people be where they are untill they get civilized or colapse on themselves.
Direct war is not a good way to go, as now with the iraq war you americans sent a dratload of murderers rapists and uneducated monkeys through our border. "we" (political leaders) take them to keep upp apperances of how humanitarian our country is....thank you america

It`s so cute, but also sad in the same way.
I hope they stay together forever and ever!

I mean, when I was younger I had friends from different ethnicities, and I always remembered my friends by how they were like, but never by their race. I saw pictures when I was a child recently and I was like "wow? My friend Jasmine was Indian?" and such... I just knew her as jasmine.
And I do that right now! Each time I talk about my friends, I refer to them with their race/nationality/color. It sucks really.
