"i wander what the same sex marriage rings look like?"

Read Maelstrom`s explanation. Just think...most homosexual relationships have a dominant (pitcher, butch) and a submissive (catcher, lipstick).

I saw this in my Craft magazine last quarter. I showed it to my fiance and told him it would be awesome if we could get something like this made.

Wedding rings? I would think even nerd girls would prefer something prettier for that one special day.
Then again, there are some crazy people in this world...

That`s kind of cute in a way. Two nerds, getting married, sharing the same, little quirky ideas and wearing matching, unique rings....it`s cute. I like it. =)

"I`d probably laugh if I understood what that meant."

Different devices use different wires to transmit and receive.

Straight-through: The pins one device uses to transmit are the pins the other device uses to receive. (i.e. you are straight)

Cross-over: Both devices will use the same pins to transmit and receive, so you must "cross" the wires in the cable at some point so that the transmit pins will be talking to the receive pins on the other side. This is usually the case when connecting similar devices (PC to PC, switch to switch, etc.) and thusly means you are homosexual.

I feel bad that I`m able to answer that. :(

oh yeah, if they REALLY cared for each other, they would have used ones that meet cat6 standards. haha

Thats not realy cat5 ;o Those are RJ45s (jack and connector). The `cat5` on there means the wall jack meets cat5 standards though ;p

How sweet.

"Presumably, these Ethernet rings come in both straight-through and cross-over pin-outs for traditional and same-sex nerding."

I`d probably laugh if I understood what that meant.

I think I`d rather sport the "Captin Planet" ring. Yeah... Power of heart (I know I`m a puss).
