The only thing good that comes from Canada is sci-fi, but even so, most of it is mediocre and only the few rare ones are good.

Americans have nuke, stealth planes, and fancy tanks. We are clearly better. You can`t fight a war with scifi.

... More countries use the Metric system. The only reason the U.S. sticks with imperial is for comeptitiveness and money.

A company reprinting all their tools for imperial (this is an example) will make more money then one sticking to metric.

You may say that you`re not a child molester but if any straight man had the chance to have sex with a tight young teenager they would do it and you can`t say otherwise. Actually more countires use British English then American English and both are accepted everywhere English is writen.

About the Arts, with the advent of photography art has shifted away from "picture perfect" paintings as it was no longer "necessairy".

However this is no excuse for Modern and contemporary art. Throwing paint on a bleak canvas is not art, at best you have a premordial barbeau. Same thing with Sticking a lamp on a Tonka truck and exposing it in a museum. Thats not art. It`s lazy.

Surrealism on the other hand is art, it shifts away from today`s tacky photo realistic landscaps. Yes, it is tacky no matter how beautiful they are. Yes, even th wolves stalking threw the forest, or that painting of an Eagle.

Surrealism both involves thought going behind it, practice and acts as a commentary when applicable.

Can`t tell you why I don`t like Canadians(it`s a secret). I don`t dislike all Canadians. I have one Canadian friend, but we argue all the time about politics, beer and the better bacon.

Actually..I find it easier to fly to the US..When I went to Cali it was easy..flashed my Passport a few times and walked right on.

Driving across is a different story. You have to give them your life story, show a passport or photo Id + a birth certificate. If you don`t have a Canadian birth certificate you need a citizenship card. One out of 10 cars gets searched.

    Oh, Jackson Pollock?

And no, allthough he`s technique is intresting, and has contributed to art, doing the same thing over and over again, changing colours, no, just, no.

Allthough, "The She Wolf" is quite intresting as it has both the drips and the control.

    Pointalism is awsome.
But no, Not like pointalism - Like literly flinging paint on a canvas in a controlled manner and come out with a Mountain, forest, river, sky, different colours in the right places etc, etc (that was just an example)

There`s a video out there of somebody demonstrating this, however with only one colour.

Jackson Pollock is an artist, but I do not concider all his works art.

Ever tried to immigrate to Canada? Near on impossible, only those with skills which canada needs can get in. My parents went last year and got held up for an hour just getting off the plane `cos of passport checks for vacations. So yeh, really easy.

And you may say that Canada is behind America education wise, the American education is behind the English, way behind. And we`re way behind a lot of the European`s and most probably everyone is behind the Japanese.

I can`t believe all the people that are stumped by this. There are stairs that increase from the left to the right. They`re basically on a staircase. The left box of cereal is simply taller than the right one. You can SEE them stepping up and down, look at their feet!
