I can`t believe all the people that are stumped by this. There are stairs that increase from the left to the right. They`re basically on a staircase. The left box of cereal is simply taller than the right one. You can SEE them stepping up and down, look at their feet!

I just thought I would drop in and give a comment that is actually on topic with the video, and not bashing Canadians or whatever started this six page long flame war.
They used this technique in Eternal Sunshine for The Spotless Mind, in the part where they had to make Jim Carrey look like a little kid. It was really cool then, and still cool here.
There, now can`t we all just smoke some Canadian weed and get along? ;)

Ever tried to immigrate to Canada? Near on impossible, only those with skills which canada needs can get in. My parents went last year and got held up for an hour just getting off the plane `cos of passport checks for vacations. So yeh, really easy.

And you may say that Canada is behind America education wise, the American education is behind the English, way behind. And we`re way behind a lot of the European`s and most probably everyone is behind the Japanese.

Pointalism is awsome.
But no, Not like pointalism - Like literly flinging paint on a canvas in a controlled manner and come out with a Mountain, forest, river, sky, different colours in the right places etc, etc (that was just an example)

There`s a video out there of somebody demonstrating this, however with only one colour.

Jackson Pollock is an artist, but I do not concider all his works art.

Driving across is a different story. You have to give them your life story, show a passport or photo Id + a birth certificate. If you don`t have a Canadian birth certificate you need a citizenship card. One out of 10 cars gets searched.

Actually more countires use British English then American English and both are accepted everywhere English is writen.

About the Arts, with the advent of photography art has shifted away from "picture perfect" paintings as it was no longer "necessairy".

However this is no excuse for Modern and contemporary art. Throwing paint on a bleak canvas is not art, at best you have a premordial barbeau. Same thing with Sticking a lamp on a Tonka truck and exposing it in a museum. Thats not art. It`s lazy.

Surrealism on the other hand is art, it shifts away from today`s tacky photo realistic landscaps. Yes, it is tacky no matter how beautiful they are. Yes, even th wolves stalking threw the forest, or that painting of an Eagle.

Surrealism both involves thought going behind it, practice and acts as a commentary when applicable.
