A 10-minute clip, but worth watching the escalation of a weird showdown. Tough call, but I"m siding with the driver.

honestly, i don`t know who i side with on this one.
both were obnoxious, but i think i`m with the girl..
though she could have been less irritating...
as for the daughter, it was really none of her concern. she should have ;et her mother handle instead of complicating things by jumping in when she really didn`t need to.
sooo..yeah.

What a pretentious little whore!

I don`t know who to side with. Most probably the girl, you know, she said "let me off" when the driver said she will kick her off...

But again...

WHORE.

And about the girl, the daughter - go you! I fully respect you. I`ll kick anyones ass if they mess with my family.

Also - annoying little bitch at the end. She had a whiny voice and sounded like a suck-up. Go Die.

this girl was. And if the driver wouldn`t let me leave, i would get out the emergency exits and call my mom or the principal or person who employs the driver. But i wouldn`t be so pissy like that girl was. It`s not like they can hold me hostage.

Also, if the girl said "I need to get off the bus here" The driver could have said something like "Sorry, we aren`t allowed to." If she did say that, then i blame the girl. But if the driver acted like a know it all arse, that girl should have gotten off the bus. But she was being a bitch.

I say they are equally responsible, depending on the circumstance.

if the teenage girl shoved the driver to get out, then that`s just a little over the top, but still, the bus driver shouldn`t handle somebody elses personal property in a rough way. If she wants to call her mom, so be it. She contacted her mother who can deal with it, and the bus driver should atleast talk to the mom without being so pissy.

However, the girl was acting like a little bitch. "Stop TOUCHING me LADY!" "OMG stupid pervert!" and what was up with the hair stroking thing? weird.

Honestly, if the bus driver confronted me unfairly, i would have called my mom, told her about the situation, and if the bus driver kept acting the way they were and making such a deal about it, I would have just said something like, "I`m not going to take this blatant disrespect, i am getting off this bus" because adults need to learn to treat even little kids with respect. They aren`t idiots like th

I didn`t read all the posts...who would...but owen402005 has it.... I can`t believe that anyone would side with that snotty, emo wanna be. When you`re on the bus, you sit the hell down and shut the hell up. If you have a problem, you bring it up with your parent and the school AFTER the fact. It`s not like the bus driver was smackin her around for Christ`s sake. btw...everytime I ever heard "I`ll kick you off the bus.", it meant that your bus privileges would be revoked from the NEXT DAY ON, not actually pulling over and kicking you off the damn bus! Can we get real?! Even if she used an empty threat, what the hell happened to respect in this damn country?!? Do you want to know why we have people shooting each other for a damn kit-kat?? There ya go! Parents need to get a dratin clue and treat their kids just like that...kids. You`re not an adult until you show that you can act like one, and that little bitch needed her ass handed to her.

im sure that on every bus, there is a back door but if she was too stupid to notice that then she probably wouldnt be able to get it open and make herself look even more like a dumb a s s....

but if any1 i was pissed at took my phone, i would punch them in the face and wouldnt give two poos if i got a suspension, getting expelled is a differnt story....

but anyway, this girl could have just easily walked out of the back of the bus and saved 10 min.

Actually, I think busdrivers aren`t allowed to make any unscheduled stops unless it was an emergency other wise they would get in big trouble.

My first time on a bus, I got on a wrong one. When I was the last kid still sitting there, the bus driver asked me where I lived and she told me that they aren`t allowed to make any unscheduled stops because parents would get angry and she could lose her job. In the end though, she had me write a note saying that I got on the wrong bus and she was willing to take me home.

What that girl did was totally uncalled for. If there was an emergency, she should have said so in teh beginning.

The whole time i was just waiting for them to turn around and get out the back emergency door. would have been hard for the bus driver to stop them from opening it, one stay behind blocking her way, the other opens it. Either way, i like how the bus driver sound all sad at the end " omg, where was the help I asked for !? *tear* *tear* " XD.
But honestly, bus drivers still care about who rides the bus ? I didn`t know that Haha.

girl shouldnt have been loud in the first place you are always told to be quiet and when the bus driver started to talk to her she should have stayed quiet and then let everything continue but also the driver shouldnt have touched her she could have stood in the way but she shouldnt have touched her and taken her phone that only provoked the girl more
basically they were both at fault

The driver is at fault here. The kids immature--but I don`t know if anyone knows this but...kids are EXPECTED TO BE IMMATURE. You can`t expect the kid to act more mature than the driver. The driver didn`t let her get off the bus because she probably thought the girl was a spoiled brat, but she should have let her off the bus and she shouldn`t have touched her.

Calling the cops because a girl wants to get off the bus--is balsy lol.

but yea. i didnt see her do anything wrong, maybe there was more that wasnt shown?
now she shouldve sat down when told to, but the bus driver wouldnt let go when she told her too. AND THE MAN IN THE BACK SAID EVERYONE ATTACK AND IT TURNED INTO A (BUSRIDE) BLITZ LOL

This all started because the girl was on her phone and she was distracting the driver right? Well if that`s the case that bus driver should not be driving a school bus. Kids are frequently noisey on buses, and I`m just wondering if any other kids who were talking were "distracting" to the bus driver. This girl is kind of a bitch though still doesn`t make anything the driver did acceptable.

I personally think that it is both of their faults. The bus driver shouldent have touched the girl and just let her get off.

But the girl was being a little bitch and needed to sit her ass down...

I was surprised that the bus drivers daughter came in so late. If i was her, i woulda punched her from the start.

One more thing... i never thought those cameras worked...i thought they were jus there to scare students..lol

Robb- I don’t see how speaking with “mom” on the phone is any different than having a note from “mom” saying you can get off from a different spot. Under that logic, how can any student ever take a different bus or leave school for an appt? Besides, its not that hard to double-check with the parents later by contacting them, if you really are that suspicious.

I do believe that all the students on that bus (minus the driver’s daughter) did not care for the bus driver and responded with dismay and slight outrage at the crazy girl remark -The boy on the 911 phone call even said something along the lines of “there’s been constant problems on this bus for weeks now, and it was only a matter of time before someone on this bus broke out.”

Plus, it was the girl`s bus. The bus driver pulled over because she said that the girl was talking too loud. She was never in the driver seat area, she was always in the aisle of the bus.

Just because the phone has MOM on it doesn`t mean it could be the mom speaking. It could be an older sister for all we know. No way can the driver be sure. I would have told the person on it that I can`t be sure they are the mother.

If the girl didn`t belong on the bus, and told her `mom` how come she didn`t get grilled for being on the bus? Maybe she got in trouble for riding the bus prior and didn`t tell her mom?

Depending on the district that students can never be in the driver seat area.

The point of her calling the girl crazy is to the girl will realize she`s becoming disorderly. The students laugh not because it`s wrong, they laugh because they know something is going to go down as most by standers do in any incident. Or they know it pissed the girl off and might make her do something rash.

assaulting the girl by physically laying her hands on her and pushing her against her will. She pushes her three times after Sammy repeatedly tells her to stop.

When the bus driver told the person over the radio that she had a "crazy girl" on her hands, the entire bus crew scoffed because obviously the only crazy one there was the driver.

Again, her mom was on the phone. If the bus driver had just spoken to her, then there would be no "child endangerment" issues or responsibility (as if there is one). Instead the bus driver took away the girls phone and threw it aside, with the mother still on the line. That`s not only the wrong thing to do in the situation, its also disrespectful to the adult on the line who is trying to figure out what`s going on and should be consulted.

driver should be fired.

Yes..let the girl off and then get sued by the parents for child endangerment or any other charge a good lawyer can think of...Brilliant. The only thing the driver can do legally is stop the bus and have an authority figure come and get the kid (police/parent/guardian) So until help arrives she has to hold the kid no matter what the little bitch is doing. Throwing the phone was not smart, but otherwise that kid needs her ass kicked..
Please notice that the age groups siding with the student are 13-17...Ummmmm...riiiiiight.

"The ride started with the 15-year-old girl pretending not to be on the list of authorized passengers. Then she and Sullivan were both verbally combative. The situation intensified after Sullivan pulled the bus over and asked the 15-year-old, "Why are you on this bus?" and suggested she "find another way" to get to and from school.

The high school student caught on videotape scuffling with a school bus driver said she`s taking responsibility for her actions.

"I should have sat back down and sucked it up and acted more mature about it," Samantha Taylor,15, a student at Williams Field High School said Tuesday. "I was really immature."

Hey, Rin Half Elf, or what ever your name is. Guess what, drivers CAN let students off if it is an official bus stop. Which is was, because another student got off there. It was probably her mom who was called because that`s who she asked for when the call was answered. Don`t you think that number would be on speed dial, with a lable that says Home or Mom? Thirdly, and I say this because I, myself am a bus driver, if the driver didn`t want to talk to the brats mom, then she shouldn`t have taken the phone. Then even tossing it on the seat was a bad move.

What makes you think the driver is "trained to defend the drivers seat area? That`s rediculous. There is nothing in the drivers seat that needs to be defended, let alone from a spoiled 15 yo girl. The driver can only NOT let someone off if he/she deems it not a safe area. Not the case since another student was let off there. She had NO right to touch the student in any way. She should be fired. Yes, the kid was a

One third of our problems in this world will disappear if we would just sit down and keep quiet.

Student tries to give the driver the phone again.

Here we can`t tell if The driver tossed the phone on the seat and it bounced off, threw it, or set it down and it fell. Either way, this was the only place to put it. Also, there`s no way to tell if the person on the phone is actually her mother.
The phone is now in the drivers area, which is off limits to the students To keep both of the drivers hands free incase of an assault. If the drive gave the phone back, most likely the student won`t take it back saying she has to talk to the `mother`.

After much waiting and yelling the studdent tries to get into the driver area to get the phone. The drive must defend this area as trained. Then the student beats up a 50 year old woman.

Yeah, that seems fair doesn`t it?

When the driver was given the phone she told her to get it out of her ear, and set it down. The student probably grabbed her to get the phone back. Resulting in a slap/strike of some kind. Later in the scuffle the driver touched a boob while she was trying to push the student back. And the student played harrassment card.

The woman said the student assaulted her and the student denied it. It would make sense for the driver to say that if the student actually did grab her with intent to harm when trying to get back the phone.

Student makes claim the driver is getting mad because she is talking on the bus. False. She was getting mad because the student was talking BACK to her.

The student wales to the mom "NO I`M NOT DOING-" Giving the impression the student`s parent is expecting the student to be doing something wrong in the first place.

The student then tells the mom she is hitting her. It was only once. Again, false.

The bus driver was dealing with the student in the back.
The girl interjected the conversation making smart comments about,"It`s probably his only way to school."

The driver told her to find another way to school. She didn`t mean it right then and there. She can`t let students off the bus at unoffical drop points, because she had to stop the bus for the first kid.
Now issue is the girl wanting off the bus.
The student started aggravating the driver, not the other way around. Any pushing is allowable as she is in the driver`s space. The driver had to grab the girl`s arms to push or she`d get charged for grabbing the student`s chest. The grab in this case is to push the student back with no intent of harm.

Do you guys realize that the student could have been acting up before the camera came on? It was turned on for a reason.

Most school bus drivers are not allowed to let off students anywhere. Especially in bad areas with drugs problems.

Usually when people draw the attention to the camera like that it`s to pull attention away from themselves and what they have done.

She CAN be kicked off the bus. In my district they have a drop point for problem students where they can be held until their parents pick them up.

If the student is in the right, how come she had to agitate the driver more? Stupidity on her part, sheer stupidity. Just makes her look bad, if she wanted to make the driver look bad, she should have shut the hell up and did nothing else. Then she would have at least got a charge for hitting her phone.

How is the student to verify that the person she called is really her mother? You can`t. The driver wouldn`t be able to use the phone call as a way to let her off early

i looked up the rules...

the bus driver can`t let the girl off anywhere else except the designated stop

the only reason that little bitch was so tough was because she thought she was untouchable...as soon as the bus driver even brushed up against here she was like "WTF!!! YOU CANT TOUCH ME!!!! ILL SUE!!!"

thats how it is in America today

the kids these days have the logic "as long as i`m under 18, i can piss off any adult i want because if they touch me i`m automatically a victim."

some kids just need a beatin every once in a while

it would b a good lesson, cause in real life if you piss the wrong person off...ur as5 is gettin laid out

In regards to legal responsibility on behalf of the school, it could`ve easily been taken care of if the bus driver had simply spoke to the legal guardian of that girl and confirmed that the mother took legal responsibility of her child as soon as the girl left the bus.
I don`t see how that would be any different than when you were 8 and went over to a friends house and had to have a note from your parents saying you could ride on a different bus (at least we did that in my neighborhood).

I checked the Arizona state security and laws website and could not find anything under their student transportation statutes saying that the bus driver could detain the girl.

I agree with shadow43, seriously, there are no contracts whatsoever that sign over a student`s body. Another thing is that it probably is within the bus company`s policy whether or not they can let students off the bus, even so, she was trying to avoid further conflict. I wouldn`t have wanted to sit down either, if I had just been hit and had my cell phone thrown. It`s understandable that any students who got involved physically got suspended, because they`re idiots for doing that, but still.

There are no such thing as student rights most of the time. Sucks. My school can give you any manner of punishment for insubordination, which means if a teacher says "Go dig crap out of that trash can" or something like that, you can get written up for not doing something that could potentially be harmful to you.

I can`t believe some of the people in the schools these days. Why aren`t the parents raising them right? If my mom saw this she would have kicked my butt! It`s the bus driver`s job to take them to and from school. She could get fired for letting them off where they aren`t supposed to. They`re held responsible if they let the kid off at the wrong stop and something happens to the kid. I feel bad for the bus driver because if I`m not mistaken she was going to scold the other boy for being a trouble maker... and then the girl felt the need to get up and start something? What was the point? Come on people... is it that hard to behave?

Sorry for the rant... hope you all don`t mind. I`m just embarressed that people act this way. Stuff similar to this is what makes me ashamed to be part of people my age. No respect.

I was a bus driver for 9 years. Judging from this video, the bus driver was COMPLETLY in the wrong. First of all, how are you gonna tell one kid to shut up when A) they`ve been cooped up in the school all day, and B) everyone else on the bus was just as loud. Secondly, a driver cannot refuse to let anyone off the bus if they want to be of the bus. At least a person her age. Thirdly, the fact that she touched the student at all is grounds for termination. If she`d let the girl of the bus, the camera would have kept her from trouble because of the demand. Once she took the cell phone from the girl and wouldn`t give it back, she was unlawfuly confiscating property. Then the drivers daughter gets involved and should be looking at assault charges. If I were the school supervisor, the driver would not be working anymore. BTW, Owen, you`re a dumbass.

There is NO excuse for any adult to hit a teenager, especially when that teen is trying to leave the aggressive situation by leaving the bus. There is no signed contract handing over student`s entire bodily rights to the school system upon boarding a bus. If the girl wanted to get off because she felt physically threatened, she shouldn`t have been prevented doing so. She called her mom to speak with the bus driver, which is the exact thing that anyone else would have done, and the driver threw her phone aside and pushed her. Absolutely inexcusable.

I did look up school bus rules and laws to see if there was one regarding custody of children, but alas, did not find anything. I have found that most of the time unruly children are simply let off of the bus and videotape is shown to the principal later.

By the way, all the students involved physically (even the ones that were trying to help break up the fight) got suspended, while the bus driver basically got a vacation-- paid leave.

I refuse to side with the chick because she is one of those whiney little preppy girls and she HAD to mention the cost of the phone. I would`ve chunked the phone out the window into traffic.
Sit down, shut up, enjoy the ride. Hope she gets pubes in her steak next time she eats at Texas Road House. (Or her salad with low-fat dressing, because she seems to be one of THOSE people.)

Yes, driver shouldn`t have touched her. I honostly can`t tell what she got onto the girl for, but whatever it is, shut up and obey. If you don`t want to listen to the person driving your lazy ass home, then get your own car and drive yourself.

One thing that doesn`t really make any sense is the fact that a person isn`t really held responsible for their actions, and we can`t seem to take care of ourselves.

"If she had been hit by a car, it would have been the school`s fault."

Well, wouldn`t it be her fault? Stepping into a busy street isn`t a wise idea. Not looking where you`re driving isn`t a good idea either.

I can see where it COULD be the school`s fault. I don`t remember any classes on how to correctly cross the street and avoid traffic in my educational history.

I`m thankful my parents taught me to look both ways before I crossed a street. Oh, and using a crosswalk is also a very good idea too. :)

Ok, I have read enough about how the girl has the right to get off. That driver is responsible for that CHILD from pick up to drop off. This means that no CHILDREN are supposed to be let out of CUSTODY at an undetermined location. The bus driver is 100% correct she is not allowed to let any CHILDREN off that bus accept in designated
areas. Screw that spoiled little punk.

i cant really judge. In my district students 6th grade and up can choose where to get on and off the bus, I have ridden other buses and gotten off at friends houses on my bus quite a bit, so in my town this driver would have been fired.

oh and had I been on that bus I would have bailed out the backdoor about 2 min into that clip!

Wow, glad I finally saw the full one instead of the short edited one before....those 2 girls were complete brats, and the bus driver was just doing her job. The kids arent given "full adult rights" while in school, the school assumes full responsibility over them after theyre picked up, if they got off the bus then got hit by a car or ran away robbed etc, it would have been the schools fault...

"Can someone tell me why they evacuated the bus?"

1) Most likely the "help" had finally arrived, the girl kept mentioning someone at the front door near the end of the tape. I also heard banging / hard knocking. Sounded quite irritated and hostile.

2) They realized that there wasn`t just one way on and off a bus. The situation had become critical and tension was very high.

I know I probably would have tried to leave too. Who wants to be in that kind of situation in the first place?

I have to side with the student.

Yes, I know that the bus driver was not allowed to let the girl off the bus, but the things she did instead are well enough to get her fired anyhow.

The entire bus was being loud, but the bus driver chose to single out a student and make bullpoo out of the situation. In no way should she have touched the girl to begin with, because the girl had never touched her.

As far as I saw, the driver seemed to start the initial fight towards the end when the girl leaned down to, I would assume, get her phone, which was wrenched out of her hands when she was trying to talk to her mother. The girl never turned physically threatening against the bus driver before that, and even after she was just trying to get the driver away from her.

I was kind of wondering why she didn`t go for an emergency exit to begin with. The driver blew it out of proportion, especially when she called for help saying the girl was freaking out.

Both of my parents drove school buses. From the time the bus picks up the student until they are delivered to their destination, the driver is responsible for the safety of all students on the bus. They can not allow a student to get off the bus at the wrong stop (a friend`s home, for instance) without prior permission in writing from the parent of the student. So, legally, the driver could not allow the student to exit the bus.
The driver told the girl that if she could not comply with her orders that she would have to arrange for another method to get to and from school. The driver did not say that she was going to kick the student off the bus at that time. The student will likely be prevented from riding the bus to school anymore and her parents will have to arrange for another mode of transportation for her.
In some states, you can`t use a cell phone while driving because it`s distracting. Try driving with 50 students screaming in the same room.

probably depends on the policy of the school or state. The bus driver would have been in so much trouble if she let her off the bus and the girl got hit by a car(or anything). Probably is legally the schools fault if anything happens to her if she was let off the bus, so I would side with the driver

In response to owen402005: I hate it when people judge America as a whole on one incident. Since you`re obviously a logical person with vast intellect, you should know that the majority of things that become popular enough to reach your eyes and ears are things that grab attention, and violence always, always grabs attention. Therefore you, having (most probably) spent no significant amount of time here in the states, have no sound basis for your statement about the morality of kids here.
Furthermore, whether someone sides with the bus driver or the student is a matter of personal opinion and morality. It does not make them any less intellectual than you or I. Please don`t dish out insult b/c someone doesn`t see something in the same light as you, since oftentimes you`ll be the one wrong.
I`d say the girl is less at fault here. I`ve never known a bus driver who wasn`t allowed to kick off students, but I`m unaware of the laws of that area so I really cant chose a definate side.

I totally agree with the girl. A lot of people here posting are failing to notice...this started cause the bus driver said she was "talking" or something like that....if you are not hard of hearing you can hear, everyone was talking. Also, this couldn`t possibly be about cell phone cause you can see like 4 kids (maybe) more on cell phones just like her. No one is allowed to be trapped on a bus and she has the right to get off. Not to mention as an adult, the bus driver should be ashamed that some kid knew better and wanted to get off to avoid this, she shouldn`t have pulled over with a whole bus full of other peoples children, a bus driver is supposed to report problems TO the school (not handle them) and her little bitch daughter shouldnt have gotten involved, or she should have at least told her not to get involved. How can you correct one child when your child has the same behavior almost. The whole thing honestly is nonsense.

I hate people like that, look at the people in the back who were forced to stand. B**ch comes and takes a seat, the complains when some one asks her to move, then makes a scene. Whenever someone got kicked off the bus they were dropped off at their destination, and then were not allowed to get back on. That`s how it works.

And then some stupid girl says I`m gonna get off too, stupid teenager. This is where America`s school systems are going, straight to Hell.

the rest ( around 20 ) are the non-nice individuals, ignorant, and followers - they leave the bus because they are either spoiled by the rich U.S. economy or they are the followers just tryin to stay out of it and follow the crowd.

6) And for the people who say the driver can`t let you off unless you are of a certain age, that is true however the way the Driver handled it was completely out of line. She was rude from the beginning. She could have just asked the students nicely to quiet down but she had to single one person out and make it a big deal.

From all of that you can obviously see I think the driver was almost completely at fault.

OK, Here is my take on the situation. (BTW I am a person that hates all of the little preppy girls at school, I also usually side with the adult in the situation because they are normally correct but........)
1)The Bus Driver was OUT OF LINE
2)The bus driver was being unreasonable about the cell phone issue. If you look at other students their were multiple people that were on the phone
3)There is never a reason to touch a student. Unless the student got physical first it is inexcusable that the driver touched her.
4)It is also inexcusable that the girls cell-phone was mishandled like it was. Personal property is not something that can be abused.
5) OK, I understand that the Student was out of line as far as eventually forcing her way off of the bus but in her defense she did try to restrain her language. She seemed to try and be somewhat respectful until things got out of hand.

If I was there and I had a gun I`d shoot her (the girl), I`m not joking, I really would. Animals have more sense than this.

It also reminds me of what a detestable occupation being a bus-driver is. What an awful line of work! I say those bus drivers should be paid double. They also deserve just as much sympathy as that very short mother on that other post.

If I was on that bus, I`d probably muscle my way out after about 3 or 4 minutes of this. I`d swear at the girl in an interesting way. I would say nothing to the busdriver.

I would side with the student, because the bus driver single her out for being on her phone and I saw at least 2 other people using their phone, also the bus driver even stated "or i`ll kick you off the bus" either 2 things happened their 1) the student realized it was an empty threat and asked to leave 2) the student was trying to avoid trouble, either way it was the bus driver`s fault for either making a threat she can`t back or giving the girl the false impression she could get off, i don`t know who hit who first so I`ll leave but the bus driver also shouldn`t have taken the girls phone. the girl also handled it pretty well until the bus driver threw her phone, she did the right thing by trying to leave the bus to avoid the problem, calling her mother, taking the drivers name, those would all be things I would do in this situation. also, did anyone hear "I`m not a lesbian" halfway through the video O_o

I don`t know much about bus driver rules, but when I was little and took the bus, the bus driver once dropped me and my friends off at a tennis court, we were terrified, and he wasn`t fired.

The bus driver did touch the girl, yes. But what did the girl do? The same thing as well as verbal abuse, and then the girl charged the bus driver. Much kudos to the driver for holding them back. More than likely the bus driver will continue to drive that bus, but those girls will never ride it again. And for now old their parents will have to get them to and from school

If I would have called my parents and said "the bus driver won`t let me get off the bus where I want to.. and she was yelling at me for talking!" they would have told me to sit down, shut up, get off at my stop, and then they`d have hung up on me. I agree with GroovyGranny. They both were disrespectful to each other. I like how no one really mentions the fact that the bus drivers daughter also came up behind this girl and started physically attacking her. Worse than what the bus driver was doing. Most teenagers have authority problems and the driver should have known that having a daughter herself. The bus driver should not have threatened the girl but simply asked her to quiet down, politely. Just because she`s a teenager doesn`t mean she shouldn`t be treated with respect. As was mentioned before, we don`t really know what was going before the driver stopped.

I`m having an issue with the volume, so i can`t correctly hear the entire conversation, but it seems that the bus is slowing down before the video evenm starts. Something tells me we never got the beginning of the video...the girl was probably being disruptive or something, because no one would simply pull a bus over because of a cell phone. I`d rather give the bus driver the benefit of the doubt--because on the whole, a lot teenage girls are exactly like that one. Rude little bitches with $400 cell phones. (Note, I said a lot. First, to say this only happens in America is just as stupid as siding with a spoiled,
disrespectful little baby brat. Secondly, the driver has an enormous responsibility of keeping the `riders` safe and delivering them to their `designated drops`. ANY disturbance the driver declares as a safety issue `must` be dealt with at `her` discretion within the law.) What everyone should realize is that a bus driver is no different than an airline pilot, or a cruise ship captain, they have `priceless` cargo to deliver and they are in CHARGE! If this spoiled little baby with her $400.00 phone would simply have obeyed the driver and shut up, this whole ugly mess would never have happened. The driver had every right to restrain this idiot from leaving the bus. How much more simple can it be? If this would have happened on an airplane the baby brat would have been put in hand cuffs and taken straight to jail at landing.

ok it is not allright for the kid to get off anywhere except their stop at any age under 18, the bus driver has the right to keep order on the bus by restraining the student, we were not allowed to get to `noisy` on the bus because it distracts from trafic noise. if you do not like going by the `rules` then have mommy and daddy drive you whiny butt to school. nobody else likes a whiner and only the whiners are on the girls side the others understand that there are rules in life you have to follow. we are suposed to be civil not animals.

Someone help me, im confused. Okay, so i thought the problem was originally that she was on her phone? There was another girl clearly on the phone that i saw closer to the front on the right side of the screen...? Or was it that she was talking too loudly? i dont know...im confused.

I dont think that the driver should have taken her phone, i think that she should have taken the phone, explained the situation to the mother and given the phone back to the kid.but thats just me

...Oh! at the end, the driver says "wheres my help that i asked for?" EXACTALLY! Where IS her help? I thought she was calling the police? Where were they? Someone from the bus drivers office maybe? The video was ten min long...and i understand that some things take time..but when there are children involved...i dont know.. I would like to know if they just ignored her call or what..

I know that you are not supposed to let kids off if it`as not there designated spot but if the person is going to start something they should let them off the bus. I AM TOTALLY ON THE STUDENTS SIDE BECAUSE... All she was doing was talking on her phone and if thats a crime then I guess a shyt load of people are guilty. I k,now tha I have done it quite a number of times. The driver had NO RIGHT to touch the student!!!! When all the comotion satarted my 1st thought was to go out the back door but thats just me. And if she would have thrown my phone i would have started it right then and there and my mother would have sued and gotten her fired and then made her pay for the phone. My mother is nice, when needed, and if you do something wrong to her kids she will flip her lid!!!! She had every right to get off that bus and if she was older that 16 she can legally be let off the bus. That bus driver was a complete b**ch. Her daughter had no right to interfere either... was not her fight.

Man, if I were on that bus, that little b-tch would have gotten a pair of scissors to the eye.

And if I were that driver`s daughter, I would have snapped A LOT sooner.

School Bus Drivers are not PUBLIC Bus Drivers, they can`t just drop the kids off anywhere. Also, Kid #1 can`t get dropped off at kid #2`s house....imagine the liabilities. The Bus driver wins, kids need to understand the rules. Rules that are there to protect their sorry asses.

yup...and I think she was asking for help from the radio...maybe to escort the girl home or something...but the help never came...and she didn`t throw the girls phone away...she took it...and tell the girl`s mom that she is the authority in the bus...and even though it is a repost I think it gives a better view of the situation...I`ll say it`s a great post...pretty sad that most of the students decided to go with the whiny girl...btw...the girl actually shoved the driver to make way for her to get out...and if another student jumps in..they`ll have to face disciplinary actions...like the daughter and the friend

Stupid little popular girls thinking they`re the coolest by trying to solve the situation with violence. I feel bad for the bus driver. She could have lost her job because of that little bitch.

the bus driver can`t let her off the bus. if she had let her get off the bus she could have been fired. there have been cases where a bus driver had let a kid off at the wrong stop and something happened to the kid and the bus driver was the one held responsible. so letting her off randomly on the side of the road isn`t an option.

My bad - from the nature of his posts I thought he was a girl. I stand corrected as the patient said to his podiatrist. Ok - so I was exaggerating about previous posts being nonsense but I still maintain my point. The internet is a big place so if you`re annoyed with people/submissions here, move on.

So why did it take so long for them to figure out there was a side door? The back door would have also been a good choice.

I see you don`t have anything clever to say to me but still insist on getting those last few words in. Also I noticed that you didn`t capitalize the `i" It should have been capitalized for two reasons and yet you seem to have forgotten both.

Well Diddie I take it you aren`t very observant otherwise you will notice it says "male" under his name. Also I have had conversations with Koalameatpie on other posts in the past and he deserves to keep his posts as he usually has interesting opinions.

Yeah... Uhm... The driver is going to get fired... You can`t contain anyone on a freakin schoolbus against their will... It`s not the drivers problem who gets to school and who doesn`t.

Rocky-lee: if you haven`t noticed before, fancylad is the editor of this website. Hence him submitting posts as we submit the posts to him first.
Also I`m not sure which is worse: The annoying, whiny, bint on this video or Koalameatpie moaning about her posts being deleted. Just be grateful he hasn`t deleted your 1400 other submissions of nonsense.

Wow kids are so much worse in America compared to Canada they are horrible. No one can intelligently side with the student in this case (I use the word intelligently because so far everyone who has sided with the girl, their logic is completely ridiculous)

I am not a bus driver but I can assume that the driver is only allowed to let students off at designated stops and therefor had every right to keep the student on the bus or else she might be jeopardizing her job.

I think the girl was smart enough to see that it was an empty threat when the bus driver told her to " be quite or I`ll kick you off the bus" (at least I hope so, my golden retriever could tell the difference) but being the spoiled mean person she is (excuse the vulgar language) she had to go and make a scene and cause delay in the schedules of everyone else on the bus.

This whole thing could have been adverted if she had just stopped talking. This proves my point from previous posts that parents need to be

Same as missmage. I`m siding with the student, because she wanted to get off the bus to avoid trouble, and it was her right to do so, she should have been let off the bus if she wanted to go. But no, the driver forces her to stay.

Purple Kush, good idea, but there are about 20 witnesses who know you name and a camera, so yeah, good luck staying out of trouble.

Haha. I love these sorts of things.

It`s close, but honestly, I`m siding with the student. The driver told her she would kick her off the bus if she continued talking, and then when the student asked to get off the bus, the driver wouldn`t let her.

It`s difficult to tell who touched who first because of the camera angle, but it seems like the driver physically blocked the girls path when she tried to leave.

The driver also took the girls cell phone and threw it. Also uncalled for.

BUT, at a certain point the girl should have just sat her ass down. It seemed like she was was asking for it and trying to get the driver to touch her further.

If she would have just sat she would have been able to let the one hit the driver layed on her set and convict the driver in time........

Why didn`t anyone shut that girl up? I swear to god, I would jump up and drating say "BITCH! SIT THE drat DOWN OR BY GOD I`LL SIT YOU DOWN MYSELF YOU LITTLE WHORE"

Then they`d start fighting with the bus driver and I would stop them. That girl would be getting off the bus alright.... off the bus on my shoulder because she is knocked out...

I would probably go with the rapist thing myself.

Back on topic. I think that kid had some serious issue and should have been allowed to get out the bus to prevent endengering the other kids.

Kids who cause disturbance like this while inside a school bus are just restricted from using the bus here in quebec... get that kid out of the bus and she can never use it again.

Case closed.
