Brainiac drops a little science: What kind of parking material protects your TV the best? Sweet destruction.

Well, bubble wrap always seems the obvious choice, as the bubbles bursting actually dissipate the impact, like air-bags in a car (if they didn`t, they would likely just transfer the impact).

But it depends how much wrap you put on. I would have put on more.

hammond is the man.. and ya when he almost died it sucked,, shoulda wore a bubble wrap suit.. but the experiment was complete crap.. the buble wrap one was the only one that was wrapped well the others were half assed and falling apart.. they should have droped the tv from a controled hight onto the packing materials.. all the same thickness.. i think he just wanted to throw tv`s out the back of a moving truck

Brainiac is not science.
They only do tests once or twice, or if they do, find inconclusive evidence and call it fact.

I only heard "My Generation" & "Magic Bus" in the background. Did they play any others?

@ Asheren; How do we talk like that? well, we do it by attempting to pronounce each word correctly, maybe you should try it sometime, instead of stuffing hamsters up your arse, or whatever you fail to do while at school over there.

I wish I had 4 TVs to throw out of the back of a moving van.

I wish my TV had a working remote =[
I wish my DVD player had a working remote =[
I wish I could control my TV/DVD player with my mind.

I used to watch Brianic almost everyday until the fight between Virgin Media and Sky meant that the channel was taken off my service. :-(
Is it still on Sky One?

Was `Hamster` Hammond wearing bubblewrap when he took the rocketcar for a spin on TopGear?

unbreakable - it`s just a programme called brainiac. I love Brainiac and I love Richard Hammond. I was so worried when he almost died. :(

Old and repost... why can`t this site post only new stuff? And don`t complain thats its not seen by some people. Just cause they can`t be fked going through the archives. Ok, so people that have seen the post before can skip it and let everyone else enjoy it... but when every 5th post is a repost, thats just taking all the fun out of being bored
