This is what people from the 1930s thought we"d be wearing in the year 2000. Convertible sleeves FTW!

"The likely clad woman of tomorrow-
Oooh, swish!"
Ha ha ha...I love the past.
As for the transparent net thing, we wear that crap all the time! Maybe not as a dress, but as fish-net shirts were popular for a time.

"Ohh Swish!" ROFL

That was so inaccurate it was hilarious. But at last they got the carrying around phones part right. That`s why I don`t even bother speculating too much on the future, because I`ll probably be dead wrong anyway. We always tend to over/underestimate the development of technology and culture.

well, some of that was vaguely accurate... with the guy wearing the phone, radio, etc. just like MP3 players, and cell phones.
and the lady in the outfit with the pants... that outfit looks so `70s

Um if this was real then: it amazes me how viedeo editing in the 30`s is much more smooth than in 2008.

If its fake: it amazes me why the person who made this movie didnt add in honeycombing and shading on Microsoft Office Powerpoint.

Everything but the climate contorol stuff and the menswear thing is true. Adjustable clothing for night and day, netting, the heels on those shoes...most of it has all been done.

"Much better post quality

"Ooohh Swish!"
"(...) And candy for cuties!"

Date rape anyone?"

You win again, lmfao.

But CRIPE! What were they on!? and how come they all thought we`d be in an age far beyond anything a jetston`s writer on drugs could have come up with. And what`s with the dude`s outfit? Hair from the 1600`s, a suit from a Romeo and Juliet play, and a stolen copy of batman`s first conceptual bat-belt.
This is just WRONG haha.

The part with the transparent netting did come true you guys. You obviously didn`t know any goth kids back in the late 90`s. I even still some poor wanna-be`s now-a-days trying to do the whole fishnet thing.

"oh jaxley you reminded me, when did americans stop pronouncing aluminum like th rest of the world? we pronounce it (now) as a-loom-uh-numb while other places say, al-lu-main-um"

I`ve never heard al-lu-main-um but in the UK it`s al-yoo-MIN-ee-um. And wow, it looks stupid spelt phonetically.

Thanks*

FTW typically means For The Win (and adversely FTL means For The Lose). i have never heard it used as F* the Whites, but if an angry internet "minority" (even though i think every race is actually getting quite equal in population) felt inclined to say that, so be it.

as for the article, i thought the netting the chick was wearing IS a fashion statement of today, at least it looked like something a stupid model would wear? and how are some of those clothes any worse than some of the designs that i have seen, like a couple of years ago the shirt that wasnt, all it was was a collar and sleeves (or was i imagining this?) or some of the dresses that get walked down the run way but never seen on anyone in public.

what im wondering is why dont we have more articles about why we arent like the film Back to the Future suggested...

and side note, I JUST realized that it`s WTF backwards... am I getting close?
