what do you mean how cruel? they knew how fast it was going, and they still got on of their own free will at least three times. so i get the feeling they were enjoying it.

It wasn`t cruel, you can drop dwarf hamsters and they get right back up again. They`re tough little creatures. Suffocation they don`t take well, though. :C

But yeah, humans would never voluntarily go on something that was going to spin you around over and over again... apart from at theme parks...

Marx Engels, i knew some idiot like you would say that. YOU ARE WRONG, you suck.

    centripetal force is real
    it is the correct name
    centrifugal force is not,
centrifugal force is not the term to describe a rotation toward an axis
    centripetal force is,
    you are wrong
i`m only in 9th grade and i know something so simple as this (probably because i am taught by the greatest science teacher to walk the earth)

Centipetal force is not a real force though. It`s a name of all the combined forces at work in a circular motion, and it`s directed towards the center of the circle.

Centrifugal force is one that tends to pull an object outward. (Hampster in a tumble dryer). Centripetal force is a force tending to pull an object inward when it is rototing rapidly around a center.(Hampster in a blender.)

    it is centrifugal force.
centrifugal force is the force directed away from the center
centripetal force is directed towards the center

centrifugal force is a `fictitious force`, which does not mean that it is not a real force. ask your science teacher again
