that`s awesome... i thought it was fake but no, google the name in the corner of the video to find other videos of him!

It also proves that in some of those "UFO" videos where "experts" say there is no way we have the technology to make things move in the air in certain speeds and change direction etc etc... well we do!

Damn, that was impressive. I`m gonna try that with my Cessna. :D It`s damn hard to fly a helicopter RC or real, and he`s making that thing fly like a UFO!

my god that is actually spectacular flying, personally i fly model aircraft and so i find helicopters almost impossible, so to see such an insane ability is quite breath taking.

He must have modified the blades so they`d be able to swing past the 180 degree pitch point. A normal helicopter can`t stay flying upside down because the pitch angle will just simply suck it straight to the ground.

^^ Nightshifter, you`re right- a stunt RC copter like this one uses a "Collective Pitch" rotor system. In a CP model the main blades can be pivoted about their longitudinal axis in relation to the main rotor head, thus changing the pitch angle of them and the associated amounts of lift. The motor can therefore be kept at a constant speed and altitude is controlled by changing the pitch angle of the blades (even to rotate to negative pitch). This allows for `upwards` thrust and therefore it can fly inverted.

So he didn`t modify it as such, they come equipped for inverted flight.

this isnt a repost. we have seen things similar, but not this exact video. the last clip was more interesting though, this one lost my attention quite quickly. Also, the last video said the guy had a high powered motor in his, maybe this guy had something similar along with rotating blades.

I`ve seen a lot more amazing stunts than that.

The only one thing new here is where he flew inverted just an inch off the ground. The fact that he was able to keep it so steady, was amazing.

However, if you notice, they cut the camera before they showed him getting out of that position. I think he probably crashed and had to change the rotor blades after that stunt. They certainly didn`t show him recovering from that manouvre.

Harh har. This are obviously faked. It are sped up and reversed. And even though being reversed means the camera was at all times ahead and predicting course changes instead of behind and following, and would have no bearing on being upside down and twists I claim it. Nevermind being slower in speed would make it harder to stay up. Don`t worry though. Cause I argues on forums and that makes me smart. Check out the cables, I swears they are totally there.
