I am making a prediction, Super Mario wont be the best selling game of all time 2 years from now. I predict that GTA4 will pass it. And see, and will always see nintendo as a childrens gaming system

SNES, Zombies Ate My Neighbors. You got to play as a dude with 3d glasses or a chick, they used squirt guns to kill zombies and save people, there were also things like weed wackers, soda pop grenades, and potions that turned you into a monster.

True, MB had a stand alone and so did duck hunt if I remember correctly. Also, "I learned in my history of gaming class" BWAH!? Now I need to ask this, GSP-110? I ask this because 1) Where you say you live, 2) Only thing I can think of that would have a game history class is Devry, which would explain why you guessed it a while back when I was talking about my nerd school.

Sorry if this is kind of creepy, you perked my interest.

Yes, IkeRay, you can... I heard it is also rare and much more expensive than the version with the included Duck Hunt. Kudos if you happen to have one lying around, I have a friend lookin` for one.

That video was kind of pointless, most of the "facts" weren`t even that astonishing. The very few things I didn`t know from prior knowledge, I learned in my history of gaming class. Would have been better in list form, and not with some random guy in a video...

standards: virtual boy was a system/console, not just a game. there were lots of games for it, none of which were that great. the system was alright, but like rufifi said, the constant red light really played a number on your eyes and brain (headache).

and yeah, wii was the first one to have a zelda game actually released at the same time as a console, although you could argue that color gameboy had zelda dx but i dont think that counts.

also, why is it that mario was released with duck hunt AND track and field. does anyone know if you can get the original mario bros game w/o duckhunt and/or track and field?

side note, powerglove and track and field mat, awesomeness.

I think that Zelda definitely came out on another system first, I have it on N64, and I wish titles still came out for that too.

how is "my SNES has yellowed" interesting?

although nintendo`s gameboy is the "best selling" it is not the "best" handheld console ever. i give that award to the Sega Nomad, inwhich you can hook it up to a TV and a second controller, thus making it not only a handheld, but a home console as well. on top of that, it used the standard genesis cartridges, meaning, no double buying a game to play at home and on the go.

why is there no "fact" about the amazing sounds produced for the NES, so catchy with such minimal notes available.

From wikipedia:
Many, if not most, 70s consoles featured an Analog Stick, see under, the VC 4000 (1978) for more info. In 1982 Atari released the first controller with a potentiometer-based analog stick[2] for their Atari 5200 home console. However, the non-centering joystick design proved to be ungainly and unreliable, alienating many consumers at the time. During that same year, General Consumer Electronics introduced the Vectrex, a vector graphics based system which used a self-centering analog stick, obviously a precursor to the modern design.

For many years, consoles ignored analog technology, instead using the digital D-pad. It wasn`t until the emergence of 3D gameplay that the analog stick was brought back for widespread use.

In 1995, Sony (realizing that analog technology could be useful) created a potentiometer-based analog joystick for use in Flight-Simulation games. The Sony Dual Analog FlightStick featured twin analog sticks and was used in games such as "Descen
