u cant compare
cant denay the capt though
i was a great catch
and willie mays.... i have never been impressed with it i know fielding aball is hard but i see Hunter pulling catches out of his ass
"is good but not that good"
wtf u want? to jump into magma and come out alive
I`d have liked to see more footage of the wall area, did he jump behind it, run for life then catch it? It would have been alot more impressive if we saw more than just a jump, but still a great catch.
And ravster look at any Eric Byrnes play. That was just a regular diving catch that happened to be over a wall
anyways, the ruling is, in order to be considered a catch, a part of the players body must still be on or over the field when the ball is touched/caught. thus, if he caught the ball and his feet were still over the field, its an out, if he caught it after completely over the wall, home run. same can be true of foul balls, but at any time, if the ball is over the fence, its a free-for-all, the crowd has as much right to the ball as the player.
dat catch was brilliant but it wouldnt count as it was a home run and the ball was caught over the line.
i actually was watching that game when it happened (wow, back in 1993- i was 11 and i still remember it!) Go Tribe!!
Nothing else more appropriate to say.
