Sounds like a good idea on the surface but wouldn`t having the hot nuggets in a cup above the cold soda be counterproductive? Plastic doesn`t insulate that well so either your soda`s gonna heat up faster or (more likely) your nuggets are gonna cool down faster.

I`ve been to barbeques where you`ve a paper plate in one hand, a bottle in the other and then what? You need another arm to actually eat! This neatly solves the problem. Fair enough the drink would probably cool the nuggets, but lets be honest - fast food has never been about quality has it? Anyway - either that guy is really small (which given his predilection for fast food I seriously doubt) or that cup was simply enormous. I know it`s got nuggets AND drink but wow! Perhaps I`m a little shocked because I honestly can`t remember the last time I had any fast `food`.

I think it`s a 10 on the awesome scale. I don`t think the heat/cold transfer would be as bad as you`d think. All it needs is a smaller side compartment for dipping sauces, then it would be perfect.

Actually, it is a pretty good idea. Saves the environment by creating less waste and makes people less fat because the pop serving is smaller (and probably so is the chicken serving). I honestly don`t see what is so gross about it. The two things are sepaparated by plastic. The video itself sucked.

The fact of the matter is, for the heat to transfer through, you would have to expect the chicken to be hot enough in the first place. I honestly doubt it is, and second, if you care that much about your food, you aren`t going to be eatting fast food anyway.

On that note, this has already been done, I saw a kid in my college have a cup like that with pop underneath and M&Ms in the top just like that. So it is nothing new.

True, warm air rises and cold air sinks, but convection isn`t the only method of heat transfer, radiation and conduction also transfer heat. However, if you used a good enough plastic insulator it wouldn`t be much of a problem, especially if you eat the nuggets quite fast, which is the idea of fast food.

I don`t see how this would make Americans fatter, since if you want the nuggets and a drink, you`ll order both anyway. This is just a way of saving space, and making it more convenient to eat on the move. You could probably put chips (fries for those across the pond) in the space as well, and perhaps a different lid with a hole for dipping sauce.

Overall a clever invention and good solution to what was admittedly never a huge problem to begin with.

Epic Success. Probably the most stupid yet most innovative invention ever to be seen by fast food tycoons. I would hope that the cup is huge, however.

The chart was funny as hell.

I would like to announce my utter amusement with the two screen names "FancyLad" and "LumpyChump" as well.

    Right, almightybob.

They could just put something like a Styrofoam disk or something similar on the bottom between the cola and the nuggets. That`d be expensive to make, though.

Someone mentioned a coffee and hash brown holder? Only problem is that people don`t drink coffee with a straw (except in China, where I`ve seen people use those little brown stir sticks. FUNNY.). You could also do some kind of dessert like that, where it would be better to have the dessert be a little warm (like mini muffins) or something like that, but it wouldn`t be bad if they were cold, either.

They`re just using it to give you less soda while making it look like more.

Also, the chicken would get cold.

I think I`ll continue to stay away from most fast food areas.

Except the ocassional Arby`s. Mmm. :3

Ok, first im not here to tell this guy his idea is good or bad but i think there are major design flaws. If you think about thermal-dynamics the soda will warm up due to the chicken and the chicken will cool due to the soda. Also how is the cup suppose to be filled? It is very difficult to fill a cup through a very small hole but if its not liquid tight there is a very good possibility that the chicken will mix with the soda (especially if your driving). The last thing I see wrong with this design is that who would buy that? I know America has a fast food craving but I think people know when enough is enough I don`t see very many people wanting to buy this product. Overall I think this design could be designed
for something a little more useful.

I admit that it`s an interesting idea, but like Camira said, it`s going to make the soda warmer faster, and the chicken colder faster. ...Another thing I think they should add is a hole in the lid so that you can drink without having to open up the chicken.
