Would have been funnier if they had all gone into the same Starbucks...but sat at different corners :P

The idea seemed funny and after about 10 seconds I came here to cure my boredom... Seems like I`m not the only one who thinks this is an epic fail.

It was too long and overdone. One computer would`ve been one thing. More than that was just dumb.

Everyone keeps bringing up the old computers...and saying that the people must really suck and whatever...I think that was part of the joke...what`s the fun in bringing a lightweight, new computer when you do something like this- might as well go all-out!

I don`t know why people are complaining. It seems to me like they`re just trying to shake things up in a harmless way. Life can be so boring, why not do something different?

You`ve got to hand it to Starbucks for not throwing them out. If it`s real anyway. I mean, they weren`t taking up more seats or causing a huge scene or anything. That`s pretty awesome! *applauds*

Two things.. First.. it demonstrates how people complain when something doesn`t affect them and it`s none of their business (the guy complaining in front of the coffee shop toward the end).. Second.. I`ve noticed a lot of "starbucks sucks" comments.. I hear it all the time, yet that place closes down all of it`s stores for a mere three hours and I see the story on the news on every channel.. I prefer the smaller coffee shops myself because I didn`t care for the house blend at Starbucks (too mellow.. not a dark enough roast for me).. but obviously, despite the anti-corporation sh*t talking, people still get coffee there.. Want to change something? Protest in front of a starbucks..

.. speaking of people who don`t mind their own business (tee hee)..

they should`ve had 1 person or 20 persons. 3 persons doesn`t work.
1 person: people wouldn`t be sure if it was a prank or real.
3 persons: people can see that it`s a prank.
20 persons: people can see that it`s a prank, but a much better one.

hey, the vid could`ve been worse. they could`ve shown two starbucks, and they could`ve been using macs. oh boy, that would`ve done it. that would`ve seriously pissed me off.
anyway, who uses windows 95?

Sorry, I don`t get it. What`s supposed to be naughty about it, just the increased clunkiness of the hardware?! Perhaps the amount of wattage they`re using? I just don`t get it.

Daegog, Improv Everywhere isn`t so much a comedy group as they are a "let`s mess with these guys" group. They`ve done all sorts of brilliant stuff. And kudos to the guy with the Windows 95 machine.

How is this a prank? Some people practically live inside Starbucks you know.

Coffee Bean is much better than Starbucks. I thought about doing this at a Coffee Bean once, but my case is a full tower that weighs about 70 lbs and I have a relatively large sized screen and my very expensive heavy and big monitor speakers kept my from actually doing it.

As long as they`re not disturbing people or getting in other people`s way, I don`t see the problem. I, on the other hand, would`ve had my speakrs blasting at full volume.

On another note, Starbucks is actually scaling back its operations.

End of the world is nigh!

lol... not at the prank, that`s mildly funny... but at the dude talking about it at the end...

"That monitor`s like 60 lbs"... wtf?! that`s half the average girl`s weight!

"I`ve seen the end of the universe... a starbucks across the street from a starbucks."

For those that know about the comedy sketch I`m talking about it proves that not EVERYTHING regarding Star Bucks is lame.

The only thing I was thinking when I watched this was, how are none of them gonna bring LCD monitors? They all brought heavy ass CRT`s, they don`t have much real estate to begin with.

And six bucks for a large cup of coffee?? I can get that for less than a buck at Denny`s.

They`re not selling coffee. They`re selling processed, mass-circulated culture. Bah humbug!

What do you expect? It has to do with starbucks. Anything having to do with starbucks is instantaneously lame. Their products taste horrible btw.

If they let people on the computers, took control of said computer, and film their reaction -> different.

Where is the video of the Starbucks time-loop?
