Yeah, they make this stuff way in advance. Didn`t you see that guy with two different superbowl hats in his hands at the end of the game?

Anyway, GIANTS! YEAH! I`m a Bills fan, but . . . hey , they`re not going to the superbowl any time soon. What a game, anyway. It`s still good to see NY win.

The Vegas odds spread against the Giants was something like 14 points. . .and then, not only did the pats not make the spread, THEY LOST. I could almost hear the screaming and gnashing of teeth in Vegas. There was millions and millions of dollars ridding on this game, and it`s all gone.

The Pats were so close, but immediately after the epic loss, we all took off our Pats gear and revealed or super stylish Red Sox Jerseys.

YEA GIANTS.

I bet 30 friends 10$ each that Giants would win.

if I would have bet pats, I would have won nothing.. so why not..

Now I have to use this 300$ to buy my girlfriend a nice bday present =[

So techincally, THANK YOU GIANTS FOR ASSISTING IN GETTING ME SOME.

If you have seen I Am Legend at the beginning during the news report at the bottom it says the patriots win over the giants. And that was before the teams where in the super bowl.

Nahhhh. They do that with all championship stuff. (Did you see that book on the bottom where it said the Giants won?) For example, you`ve got the Chcago White Sox VS the New York Yankees in the last game of the World Series with both of them having equal wins. The peoples will already have pre=made T-shirts saying "2008 WHITE SOX" and "2008 YANKEES" before the game even starts. Whichever team wins, they give out those T`s. With the rest.....well, I guess they burn `em.

BEARS FTW

I`m a Packers fan still feeling the loss from a couple of weeks ago. Congrats to the Giants and their fans. They deserved it. I don`t really have anything to say about the book.

That is correct, StoogegirlSi. Well, from last night it`s 18-1. 19-0 of they won.

Yeah MCFLYYY, They did buy a patent for 19-0! HA! How funny is that! I heard that the Giants went apply for a patent for "18-1" after they heard the Pats bought their patent. Just to show them. This is just comical. "The biggest upset of all time" HA even more comical! GO GIANTS!!!

I can tell you from personal experience that they do make merchandise for both teams in the event that they win. My bf used to have a friend who owned a sports store, and he`d always preorder the stuff like that. It was funny, seeing the "champions" stuff before it came out.

I don`t know all that much about football, though I did root for the Patriots because I used to live in Boston (miss it.) I`m assuming the 19-0 is the games won during the season?

My dad says that they are both pretty much the same. Though he prefers Rugby, not as many breaks. The fact they have padding means thay can tackle harder. Both are dangerous sports. Though Rugby is a longer game.
I think they jinxed it putting out that book before the match had even been played.

I heard a statistic yesterday that said football is the only sport that has been consistently making financial gains, whereas other sports are having to come up with more and more gimmicks to keep people interested (as an example: putting mics in the vehicles and the pits for Nascar). So, I suppose that they can AFFORD to waste copious amounts of marketing money and materials on such things... even so, that really was a roostery move on their part. I didn`t see the game, but overconfidence probably played a part in their loss. :-P

Meh, who cares? Rugby is way better, and minus all that armour that just makes it more dangerous! In case anyone didn`t notice, the Six Nations started on Saturday.

anyone else see/hear that the patriots front office applied for a patent earlier this week on the "19-0" trademark? so they could get exclusive products on all 19-0 merchandise and no one else could put that on anything, before they even played the game? talk about presumptuous

yeah, they always make things saying both teams won so they can have them immediately, like at the end of the game, one of the giants held a newspaper saying they won. but still, its pretty funny that they would write an entire book about it for it to then be useless

well it does say to only be published only in the event of a win. Just like they make super bowl winning hats for both teams.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! Reminds me of the obituaries that newspapers write about the very ill and dying celebrities waaaay before their deaths.

Oh, and incoming debate between Patriots fans vs. Giants fans in 3... 2...
