cdubb, you can`t get bent coming up from the maximum depth at which this vehicle operates. I often observed operations at a decompression chamber in Guam, never saw anyone admitted who had not exceeded a depth of 30 feet in salt water. U.S. Navy Standard Air Decompression Tables don`t even bother listing depths lesser than 40 feet.

seems an easy way to get the bends since the car floats if you dont hit the gas. So if you run out of gas, the car pops up and you basically explode just without the messy gushy part.

Not that great...
They were wearing scuba suits in the 3rd pic. I would be more impressed IF they didnt need the suits and stuff.

Imagine how uncomfortable those seats are. Those can`t be leather.

Yeah, all I could do was cringe when I saw that car underwater.

I have an idea. Let us all make an IAB Lotus Fund where we all pay in to buy and have a chance to drive it. I`m putting in five cents.

actually it wasn`t a fanatic, nor was it anything to do with James Bond.

The COMPANY that made it has madde lots of strange cars, including one that gets bigger and smaller, and one that skims the water like a jetski.

This is better than those.

Pretty aweseom, though it would kinda suck when you get out of the water and are driving around all soaking wet. I guess the convertable would make your hair dry faster.

Alternatively (and cheaper), buy a boat thats actually made to go in water.

^ Because you`d sink. And die.

Awesome and in no possible way fake. Swiss tuners Rinspeed gave us a Porsche pickup made with diamonds, the world`s first "hydrofoil car" and now a Lotus Elise, arguably the best handling car in the world, that goes under water!!

Although, I do hope you can get a hardtop version with windows that wouldn`t crack under pressure. That would be so cool!

Must. Win. Lottery. Buy. Lotus. Submarine.

Pretty lame if you watch the video. You have to put on scuba gear. Why not save around $1,250,000 and just take your Honda on down to the ocean to go scuba diving?

Cool.
Beats the flying car from before. Mainly on the grounds that it is real.
