Make no mistake, being bound to a wheelchair sucks, but if you have to use one, the iBot is definitely the way to go.

First I need to break both my legs.
Actually, not too far off... same inventor!
Dean Kamen is awesome.
Wonderful invention, though I`m sure it costs a pretty penny more than the Segway.
Actually this is pretty cool! and i commend the company that makes them! There needs to be more innovation in this field TBF.
makes me want one... although i would be wary on the 2 wheels thing.
"Ibot your wallet"
weird
MikkyChan, learn how to not capitalize every word, and then maybe what you say will have relavance.
Why the hell would you show a fat person on a commercial unless you wanted to warn about diabetes anyways?
being able to play basketball at an average height: priceless
Yeah, the eye to eye thing is a big confidence booster. I`ve been in a wheelchair before, and people tend to ignore that you`re there (or talk to you reaaalllyyy slllooowwwlllyyy) if you`re in a regular wheelchair.
Driving on the rough terrain also is great. Anyone who`s used a manual wheelchair knows how those darn front wheels get caught in the woodchips at a playground.
I wouldn`t use it, though. The two wheels thing would scare me. There are other wheelchairs that go up stairs, though (scary ones 0__0.)
HP placards suck, man. My bf and I went to Walmart onetime in his Miata, and we caught someone trying to graffiti his car. Seems they thought we were "faking it" or something so we could park close. The guy felt like a prick afterwards, though.
Probably 0
=/
This iBot is really nice but it looks pretty retarded... I`d rather be in a normal wheelchair, than in this :|
And thanatos, whats so wrong about the dancing at the prom, saying its out of the question. Are you saying you cant go to prom if your in a wheelchair... there is nothing wrong with that.
but seriously thats genius, if im ever disabled i know what im getting
there were some other awesome uses for it in there, however. and im sure seeing eye to eye with a standing person is a big confidence booster
Genius.
