I wonder if anyone has thrown anything at it.

Would probably be more interesting in real life, though I still liked it.

Plane ticket to the giant bean thingy in Chicago: 120 dollars.
Taxi to the park thingy with the giant bean thingy in it: 50 dollars.
Realizing that the giant bean thingy is really just an over sized mirror: priceless

That is pretty nifty :) Couldn`t stop thinking of how long it would take to programme something like that though, especially with silver and then black discs running through. Would of took ages to get it perfect it amazes me.

It looks like a glasses case.

When seen on the internet, it`s not very interesting, but if I was in an airport waiting, I would be watching it the whole time.

Two things:

A) This thing, even with its neat animation thing, is really gross-looking. It`s like a leech. And it`s right in a space where there`s no aesthetic for any kind of sculpture.
B) The Bean sucks. Yeah, it`s cool the first time you go there and take pictures, but when you`re in photos class in a Chicago suburb, you get REALLY damned sick of looking at bean pictures. They`re cliche and annoying and that thing is probably covered with malaria and the like.
