Guy makes a device called the blood pen, and yes, it writes in blood. What are the odds of a dead body in his basement?

why not just take your blood, put it in a little container and use a regular quill?? seems alot easier. but yeah, Always thought righting in my own blood would be really cool!!

I wasn`t grossed out by the blood, but I cringed at the needle. I have a fear of sharp objects (especially needles). Writing in blood is pointless, though a little cool. Plus, the pen was so overly complicated. I could have made a better blood pen than that. Not that I`d want to.

Mildly disturbing. Why not just use an ink pen?

Male 10
still slightly interesting, I guess

Male 10
That was incredibly disturbing.
Why would anyone want to make one of those? you would die of blood loss before you finished your paper, never mind the fact that you have to stick a hypodermic needle into yourself over and over and over.

somehow believe theres easier ways to do this, like if i really wanted,i could use tip of my combat dagger with much better outcome than that crazy emo machine he made

Call me crazy, but I`d go to any length to write in blood.

eeewww! I hate seeing blood being drawn! and now.....thanks to this video, I hate seeing people write with it.....

I don`t see the point. No matter the use of the pen, the blood is eventually going to stink and turn a brownish color.

I guess the guy just likes the thought of easily utilizing the notoriety of blood writing for simple things.

Male 272
eh. i think if he injected it into a ball point pen ink tube and used it in a ball point pen it would`ve worked a whole lot better.

this is for all those "blood contracts" so u cant go back on your word, its got ur DNA and stuff on the contract. lol

wow....that was slightly disturbing.....what disturbs me more is who the hell wakes up in the morning and says "i think ill make a pen that uses blood instead of ink!!!" brillant!" cause you know how blood pens are in such HIGH demand.somehow i always imagined a pen that writes in blood MUCh cooler. but when u acutally see it it seems so creepy

great so instead of donating that blood to the blood bank where it could possibly save someones life, you`re going to waste it by writing a whiny emo poem

Even if its kind of cool writing with a blood pen i assume that`s something every gothic or emo woul like to have but look at that thing its so freaking inconvenient and those gears take any appeal the thing might have, and did i said its freaking huge for a pen i mean what are you supose to do, use it with those big pens u but at novelty shops damn though i would probably like one

why would someone want to write in their own blood?

plus it looks like too much trouble.

i wonder what they wrote. it was soo long and boring.
we really didn`t need to see them write that whole letter.

Yeah, wouldn`t it be easier to get an old fashioned fountain pen where you inject the ink into it, and inject the blood into it using the syringe?

*shrugs*

It`s a cool idea (because I`m creepy and morbid) but much much too complicated.

^ Pabasa dried blood is very harmful. Hep b and c can live outside the body(even dried) for a couple days.

Male 4,012
Well, hopefully he gets his message across.

And Batmanners, HIV is only spreadable through direct fluid transmission, e.g. blood in contact with blood. Not likely to occur from blood (especially dried blood) onto skin. Unless you`ve got a cut somewhere.

Horribly disgusting...
What if he was HIV positive...everyone would be exposed to it when they read his crap. Stupid concept to write in blood in the first place...
I would rather write with a wolverine`s gall bladder.

What`s with the feather anyways. Plus he could just have used one of those nib pens

I agree with Flakk... the many gears on top, plus two pens in your hand? Too heavy. Although, as arddunaid said, the feather was a nice touch to bring away from the klunkyness.
