^ Actions to be taken to make sure it`s non-life threatening would make it probably not worth the effort.

Even so, it looks damn fun to do.

"Another silly Japanese game show, but this one admittedly looks pretty cool."

Not a chance in hell thats a game show, and for the SLIM chance it is, its the dumbest bunch ever.

Something like that should only be done by professionals. Get an average joe on that thing and they would have a good chance at getting killed.

So I think this is a daredevil show (Or something of the sort), and those people in the video are trained professionals.

Fun to watch but rediculously dangerous.

Gadget, that particular type of `catapult` is called a Trebuchet, just like a particular type of car is called a coupe. It`s not silly vocab.

AK-47 is right. This isn`t a game show, it`s a news-type show talking about the human catapult in England. I don`t want to sound like a whiny nerd complaining about tiny, insignificant errors, but I was expecting an actual Japanese game show and was disappointed :(

Thats not a japanese trebuchet, noob. That was a british creation, all went well, then the guy`s girlfriend hit the net and bounced off, had to be taken to the hospital. Later, one person missed the net completely and died, it was never used again.

The actual japanese game show shows clips and rates the videos on the number of "Wow"s they get or something.

btw, for those interested, Trebuchets and Catapults are entirely different. Trebuchets use the counterweight to launch its munition, catapults are spring loaded.
